I recently downloaded Microsoft Mobile apps including word excel powerpoint using Nokia suite, in my Nokia E7 phone, the size was 50 mb, nokia suite confirmed that files are downloaded and installed and restarted the phone. But after restarting I can't see any changes in the microsoft apps. all the microsoft apps are as it was onenote, Lync, document, and powerpoint broadcast. but then where is word, excel and PowerPoint? Won't it come as a new icon?

The problem is that the music player on the phone only looks in the folder called "Soundfiles" ("Lydfiler" in danish). The only way to make the music from "Music" available to the player, is to move it by the help of the FIlemanager on the phone. It can't be moved by the help of a file handler application in Ovi Suite.

I've raised this subject again as there has been no replies as yet. Is there anyone out there, with an E7, that does not have the problem below: "If I make a calendar entry on the E7 then sync to Outlook the new entry in the E7 calendar does not appear in Outlook. I've tried the sync with conflict resolution set to Outlook and Device (E7). Calendar entries in Outlook do appear in the E7 calendar when synced." So if you have an E7 that does sync calendar entries made in the E7 with Outlook via Ovi I'd love to know. I might then be convinced that Nokia can repair my phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using Nokia E72 for quite some time now and was pretty happy with the email client. I am using Gmail through IMAP for more than a year now on my Nokia E72. However, lately the Gmail has stopped synchronization with the email servers. While the mail shows connected but new mails are not fetched from the server despite several attempts.
While I am still able to send mails from my already configured gmail account and that is working fine but new mails retrievals from the server is not working for any reason I am not able to find
I have also tried to delete this account and reconfigure the GMAIL via IMAP4 however the results are still the same.My phone software is updated to the letest version available on Nokia Suite.
If this problem still persists for a long time and I am unable to find a solution for the same I fear I might have to move to a different phone possibly an Android or a Blackberry. The last email retrieved on my phone was on February 16, 2012 and after that there are 100s of emails exchanged but my phone doesn't sync.
In my nokia e72-1 model, with firmware version 091.003 and mail for exchange Buld: 3.00.000,When I add mail box, it is getting added properly and even conects to the exchange server, but it does not download any mail to the mobile.

I tried with push mail (accepting TOS from nokia) and pull (declining TOS from nokia), but created mailboxes never sync properly. There is no automatic sync. Tried with hard restart and reinstalling the software, but nothing, it wont auto sync mailboxes. I have to check mail manually. And today Nokia e6 don't accept lock code which is accurate and worked fine for 1 month since I change it. It just refuse to accept and restart when I put lock code.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find a way to sync the email on my Outlook Desktop to my E63. I bought this phone because it promised to sync with Outlook. I assumed that mean ALL of Outlook. It syncs very well with everything but the email. My problem is that I operate remotely and that my desktop email runs on Outlook 2007, which pulls my email off an IMAP4 server. I know the phone can do IMAP4 by itself.
The problem is when my Outlook pulls the messages from the IMAP4 server, it also deletes them from the server, making them inaccessible to the phone. Additionally, this is my private phone and I don't want to incur extra charges on account of my work. I like the ability to download the messages to my phone during a sync, take them with me, answer/delete/file them, and then have those actions carried out in Outlook when I sync the next time.
Is there any possibility to synchronize nokia E52 build in calendar with other caldav? I'm using Thunderbird with lighting addon to sync my calendar with owncloud (caldav). But there is one piece missing - I want do the same with my E52 to have same calendar content.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy E52 stops synchronising with Exchange after approx 10-14 days. Works perfectly for a while after initial sync, then after said period I just notice that sync of all objects (e-mail, contacts etc.) stops. No warnings, no error messages. All settings seem intact.
Only thing that works is a factory reset and setting everything up from scratch again.
I bought an E7 two weeks ago and use the embedded mail programme with:
- Mail for Exchange Client (Job account)
- IMAP G-Mail (Personal account)
- IMAP GMX.net (Personal account)
Everything worked fine for one week, then my second IMAP-account (GMX) stopped syncing. In my browser I can see that there are unread messages in the account but the E7 does not download them.
since Friday28th of October, in the morning I am experiencing a rather unpleasant issue: my Nokia E6 dos not connect to my company's email IMAP email accounts. I take the opportunity to report other 3 issuesI have 2 emails accounts @mycompany.com that were regularly being used. I did not update the firmware nor performed any changes on the phone, all of a sudden the E6 does not connect with the email accounts, there is no error message.I tried the following:1) Re-entered the password of the email account, I confirm this is right2) Created one of the email accounts that were on the E6 on 2 other devices (Ipad and Palm Pre), they work perfect, both on Wifi, on my operator,(Orange) and on an other phone operator (Swisscom)3) deleted one email account, from the E6. I restarted the phone (by holding the button 8 seconds) and recreated the email account, this is not possible, I get the following error message:" service temporarily unavailable. Try again later. "4) I repeated the test (point3) both on WiFi and using the 3G operator. I got the same errorOn the E6 there is also a Gmail account, which works flawlessly.Using the email is not an option for my business, so I wish that THIS TIME I will get an effective reply from NOKIA. ( NOKIA don't tell me again that I have to use OVI account or my mailprovider does not work, because as explained I tested the settings on other devices.

I'm not using my E6 very often because of many disadvantages.The newest one:My Exchange ActiveSync is logging out every 5-10 minuts. Thats problematic. There is every 5 minuts a popup to login into Exchange ActiveSync. I think thats not normalWhat should i do now?

Formatted memory card, *#7370# hard reset, reinstall f/w and still MfE fails to sync. Via a Blackberry and IPhone sync works fine, via phone browser to Outlook OWA access works fine too, so I'm assuming Activesync is fine server-side but something broken in new build.

I have three email accounts on my E72, two of which work just fine after I changed service provider/network (from TDC to Telenor, Denmark), but Ovi Mail doesn't sync.Pressing Z initiates the sync but then after one secon it gives up. There IS mail waiting on my account. I have made no changes to the phone apart from removing all connections associated with my old network. The phone is not sim-locked or anything.

I normally just find the "full resync" option that deletes the content and then resyncs. This generally fixes any glitch. I did a software update last week and I have spent about 3 hours trying to find it. But every time it sync, I receive the following error "Unable to sync. Contact administrator if problem persists." After attempting to sync, it will come up with the message "failure to sync". Oddly enough, contacts etc all sync without a problem and there is no problem listening to the music on the E7. I can copy music directly from Windows Mediaplayer, but that will cause the album not to show up in the albums on the E7 (though they are accessible through the file manager and then all works again.
