View 2 Repliesi have a Nokia E7-00 with English, French, German, Dutch and Romanian language options in the phone. However I need to type the Swedish letters å ä ö and can't find a way to do this. These characters are not even included in the Symbols page available when inputting text.Is there a way to add additional writing languages?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E7 product code 059F7J6 (language set 014.002.09.01). Phone language and writing language is set to english but I have a problem with the QWERTY keypad. Keypad special characters (the one in yellow) on the keypad do not correspond with the special characters printed on the screen. Example letter D should print "&" as a special character instead it prints "=". It's the with almost all other characters. I am not sure whether this is a language pack problem or not.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I was thinking about getting the 6760 slide, but since I do live in Sweden, I would prefer to have a Swedish keyboard layout, with the same placing of keys, and with åäö of course. So, I'm simply asking if this is the case? Otherwise, how does the EU (or Swedish?) layout look?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI went hiking with my friends this weekend and my phones battery died. My phones keyboard is not working now and I have tried every single update and all that - when I updated the phone my microphone didn't worked after the update so I had enough and went for it and broke the phone apart - I got the mic working by a miracle, but the keyboard is still out of the game - I haven't abused the item in any other way or has it fell or had rain or water on it - It just ran out of batterylife and when I recharged it with my PC USB cable the keyboard was just not working. Otherwise good devices but not so good reliability. I will try to remeber to post here tomorrow when i have correct t5 torx screw ready - I hope to find something interesting inside.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast year I bought an E71 as part of a 24 month contract. Recently, my sister and I swapped phones and kept our respective sim cards (which are on the same network provider), my former phone accepts the sim card and she is able to send and recieve texts, and phone calls. The problem being that when she tries to make calls (from my former phone) there sometimes is no dial tone. I was told that the phone had saved data from my sim card and needed to be reformatted, is this the case?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo here's the issue. I bought a KS360 phone (unlocked) off of ebay and it's great...except one small issue. The keyboard is marked as a QWERTY keyboard but when I go to type, the 'a' and 'q' and 'w' and 'z' are switched around, making the phone a AZERTY phone. Is there any way to fix this problem? The phone's programming says it's Belgium, which is why the phone has been programmed for an AZERTY layout (...I'm guessing). Is there any way to make the phone work as the QWERTY keyboard intended? I'm new at this, so if messing around with flashing/inner workings of the phone is involved in the solution, can someone walk me through it so I don't ruin the phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to .62, the hardware keyboard layout is wrong. I have a Swedish/Finnish keyboard, and the keys åäö generate the characters '?. instead. Half of the blue modifier key letters are also mixed up, and I can't even type @ any more. In essence, the keyboard is practically useless.I suppose that without root access, there's nothing that can be done?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have deveoped a smart font for Singhala, that shows the transliterated Singhala in the native script. It works on all browsers including Safari. (Internet Explorer has spacing issues showing ligatures). The transliteration keyboard is a subset of US-Extended made for quick typing mixed Singhala (Singhala + Sanskrit). The same solution could be applied for all other Indic languages with slight variations. (Singhala is the most complex of all Indic). The following is the first sentence of the index page at:[url]
As you can see, the letters are from iso-8859-1 code page, and the web site shows them in the complex native script. The smartfont downloads. I want to make an international IME for the iPhone and iPad with this solution

View 5 Replies View Relatedso i changed the battery on my e7-00 the other day, after following a tutorial on Internet. i changed it with no problems, reassembled, and then turned the phone back on, and now the phone does not recognise when the qwerty keyboard is opened, and it hence does not turn the screen, nor type the correct letters. the phone had no problems prior to this happening.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my E7 yesterday and encountered a problem today. When I try to write an sms or email on the virtual keyboard (phone slide closed in portrait format), the screen is not responsive at all. The screen is responsive when I press the "write message" icon on the homescreen, I can press any icon etc. and the phone works. Only when I open the virtual keyboard, does it stop responding. Only way out of the screen is to press the physical key on the bottom of the phone.
Anyone else encountered this? Could there be some weird setting that prevents me from using the virtual keyboard? The physical keyboard works fine.
It takes rather long to delete a number of words using the keyboard because the key repeat rate is set up to be rather slow (approx. 5 characters per second).
Is there a setting somewhere where I can increase the speed? I would like to set the key repeat rate to double speed.
