Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Wrong Keyboard Layout With MK16i And 4.0.2.A.0.62?
Feb 26, 2012
After updating to .62, the hardware keyboard layout is wrong. I have a Swedish/Finnish keyboard, and the keys åäö generate the characters '?. instead. Half of the blue modifier key letters are also mixed up, and I can't even type @ any more. In essence, the keyboard is practically useless.I suppose that without root access, there's nothing that can be done?
I have a Nokia E7 product code 059F7J6 (language set 014.002.09.01). Phone language and writing language is set to english but I have a problem with the QWERTY keypad. Keypad special characters (the one in yellow) on the keypad do not correspond with the special characters printed on the screen. Example letter D should print "&" as a special character instead it prints "=". It's the with almost all other characters. I am not sure whether this is a language pack problem or not.
So here's the issue. I bought a KS360 phone (unlocked) off of ebay and it's great...except one small issue. The keyboard is marked as a QWERTY keyboard but when I go to type, the 'a' and 'q' and 'w' and 'z' are switched around, making the phone a AZERTY phone. Is there any way to fix this problem? The phone's programming says it's Belgium, which is why the phone has been programmed for an AZERTY layout (...I'm guessing). Is there any way to make the phone work as the QWERTY keyboard intended? I'm new at this, so if messing around with flashing/inner workings of the phone is involved in the solution, can someone walk me through it so I don't ruin the phone?
i have a Nokia E7-00 with English, French, German, Dutch and Romanian language options in the phone. However I need to type the Swedish letters å ä ö and can't find a way to do this. These characters are not even included in the Symbols page available when inputting text.Is there a way to add additional writing languages?
So I was thinking about getting the 6760 slide, but since I do live in Sweden, I would prefer to have a Swedish keyboard layout, with the same placing of keys, and with åäö of course. So, I'm simply asking if this is the case? Otherwise, how does the EU (or Swedish?) layout look?
I have deveoped a smart font for Singhala, that shows the transliterated Singhala in the native script. It works on all browsers including Safari. (Internet Explorer has spacing issues showing ligatures). The transliteration keyboard is a subset of US-Extended made for quick typing mixed Singhala (Singhala + Sanskrit). The same solution could be applied for all other Indic languages with slight variations. (Singhala is the most complex of all Indic). The following is the first sentence of the index page at:[url]
As you can see, the letters are from iso-8859-1 code page, and the web site shows them in the complex native script. The smartfont downloads. I want to make an international IME for the iPhone and iPad with this solution
I had some problems with my C3-00, so I bring it no Nokia Care Support and they send it me back with the newest Firmeware and all things that were coruppted are now fine! BUT: I'm using my Phone in Austria, so my mother tongue is German and the C3 is set to "German (Deutsch)" but the keyboard Layout is now English!! (I recognized it because when I press the "Y" button on my Handy, I get a "Z" and any other Charakters are changed. How can I set the keyboard layout to German?BTW: I bought my C3 in Austria but NOW its a englisch keyboard layout!
I would very much like to purchase an HD Station or better yet, the Lapdock 100 for my Photon 4G. However, I type in the Dvorak keyboard layout which I would require for either of those two solutions to work. I know that Dvorak keyboards exist and those would likely work with the HD Station since no setting changes are required. However, in the case of the Lapdock if a setting somewhere on the software doesn't allow the layout to be changed I'll have to stick with my iPad and bluetooth keyboard
after every call, my phone opens network settings. The last meny, where you can choose network mode etc.. This happened on android 2.6 i think it was, and now on 4.04. Is this normal, if not how to fix this.
- All 2D games as Angry Birds as are not playing smoothly

I've tested ICS with factory settings and cleaned SD card. Also wiped all data. Same problems appeared.I've also Class 10 SD card. All of these problems fixing when i use Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
I decided to upgrade my Xperia Pro (SI 1252-5232, its in the list) to ICS. the Sony PC Companion sees the phone and writes an update to version 4.1.B.0.587 is possible, so i click on agree, it downloads the SW to the PC, and than it TURNS OFF THE PHONE and shows a step-by-step guide how to update (1. disconnect USB cable from phone and PC, 2. battery must be +50%, 3. turn off phone and wait 5 sec.->>???WTF? how can i turn it off when "it" turned it off itself? 4. connect USB cable to PC, 5. hold "back" key and connect phone to USB). I tried it several times, with MTP and MSC mode, disconnected it, turned off, waited 5 secs, pressed "back" and connected" maybe 5 times all the possible ways, but it simply does nothing when I press the back button and connect it, only the LED is green.
Iam doing wrong? How long should I press the back button, which phone-settings are required, where could be the error?
Just had my N97 Mini repaired, got it back today (about 4 hour ago) first time I've come to use my phone and the keyboard is wrong. When I say wrong, I mean this, i will use the B key for an example. The B key, when pressed does a "B" like its suposto, but the shift key does a _ But the orange other symbol on the key is a %. Can I correct this without sending it back to nokia, because I'd rather not sent my phone off for more weeks on end.
The keys it affects are: ; , ? - on the button, Inputs - ; ' K ó - on the button, inputs - K ' LÁ - on the button, inputs - L " : . Á (different foreign a) - on the button, inputs
Xperia Pro MK16i/a 2.3.4 build number 4.0.2.A.0.62 remember that you and only you are responsible for your phone (I'm not responsible for any damage), if anything goes wrong just re-start the flashing processes
You know in android system there is 3 main buttons : back, home & option. These buttons work a lot especially back button. Android 4 has these buttons bar layout at the bottom of screen (virtual in screen) but this feature is not available in neo L android 4.0.4! Neo L has physical buttons but if sony add that virtual buttons bar layout in neo L that has big screen it can save our neo L physical keys and we have greater experience with neo L. Its a very good phone with best brand(Sony). But virtual android buttons in screen is better than physical buttons that may fails. Now neo L has 4.1 build version software and sony can add this feature in future release of software update for neo L.
A friend of mine who owns a Bold from Verizon mentioned that he downloaded something for his phone and he now has improved chat-like text messages. One thing I hate about the current texting feature on my phone is the way text messages are laid out.Being that I nor my friend are poorly versed with BB's, we cannot figure out how to get it on my phone. I have a Curve 8310. Was there a recent OS update released? He also mentioned he was prompted by a system message, again, unknown what type though. I was unable to find anything on a search.
Sorry I haven't provided much to work with but I'm hoping someone knows about a recent update or something.
i was upgrading the software and just before it finished the upgrade stoped and now all what i have is a pictuer of tringle and a logo of the phone next to it, the phone is dead.
I bought my blackberry yesterday and installed the updates that came with the cd -the v5.0 version or something like that- and before the update the way I saw the SMS was different than how it is now. Now, when I'm writing a SMS it looks exactly the same way as if I was writing a BlackBerry Messenger message. I want the layout of the SMS to be as it was before I installed the update. I don't like the 'writing format' the BB Messenger has and I definitely don't want it to be the same in the SMS format.
since 3months i'm using xperia mini. now its fourth times sms gone to wrong person.at first i thought i was mistaken then i was very careful sending sms. but its from the mobile system itself going to someother person. now i'm thinking to switch frm android phone.
Is there a way to customize the layout of the email display on the 920? In the current view I get the sender, subject and part of the first line of the message. In total, this view only provides a maximum of 5 emails visible, before having to scroll. In Settings/ease of access has the font size set to the smallest.
I have a Bold 9700 for personal use and a Bold 9000 for work. On my 9700 there is an option to change my home screen layout from "Zen" (which seems to be the default setting) to "Today" which lists my messages and calendar on my home screen. Obviously this would be much more useful on the handheld I use for work but I cannot seem to find this layout option on my 9000. Is it available?
Got my Samsung Galaxy s5 two days ago. I was organizing my photos and try to move them into different albums, but I don't know what I did, the layout of all album changed. Originally all albums are on the left side and photos of each album are on the right side. But now I see all albums on the same page. How to change back to that original preview layout?
I want to change the main standby screen layout so there is nothing on there but my selected wallpaper image, is there a way of doing this? Or at least a way to re-arrange the shortcut keys?
