Sep 17, 2012A strange thing happened. I had been coping with Nokia somehow without shifting to another phone for 5 years now. Today i updated to belle refersh, now my tocuh screen doesnt register my touch in certain areas, i cant pull down the notification bar, cant scroll vertially (horizontal scroll works with jerks), the icon i click on doesnt get selected, but one above or on the side of it gets selected...pretty strange and annoying...what i did....removed memory card, restarted, checked...same thing...clean formatted the phone (without memory card...still doesnt work).

Aug 22, 2011E6 #1 (made in Finland): had to bring it to repair service because of pathetic battery lifetime and no notification light.Got a new one 2 weeks later:6 #2 (made in Hungary): had to bring it to repair service, as the screen blanked out when making or receiving a call (proximity sensor broken?). Notification light issue unchanged, Couldn't test battery as it went back to repair after one day only.Got a new one 2 weeks later (i.e. today): #3 (made in China):first of all I upgraded to OS V22. Needless to say notification light didn't change. Besides:- battery cover wobbly, a fraction of a millimeter too short. Chinese quality issue?- bluetooth doesn't work properly. A connected and authorized headset (that worked well on the previous 2 E6s, an X7, an E72, a Blackberry etc.) doesn't connect when being turned on. Have to connect manually when wanting to make call.

Will HAVE TO look at alternatives, I just can't continue like that.@NOKIA: I really really really wanted to like this phone. Sep 28, 2011When going in "locked" mode for keys and screen (automatically, or by doing it myself via the Key lock switch ), this also locks the "call key", making it impossible to answer an incoming call by merely pressing the call key. I first have to unlock keys and screen by using the Key lock switch. I have all the latest updates installed and already tried the obvious like restarting the phone, getting called by several fixed and mobile phones (to detect a 'pattern' - without success, as strangely enough 1 time out of 10 the key DOES respond as expected), changing the settings for the automatic key-locking,.

Sep 16, 2011My triumph seems to go into low power or "sleep"mode (Black screen) and can't be woken with the side power button. The battery life doesn't seems to be the issue because it will happen when the battery is at half charge or full charge. This seems to be occurring when it has not been used in awhile (~30 minutes). The only way to use my phone again is to remove battery and reinsert. Most of the time this occurs the red light is still on and blinking, but once there was no light at all with 3/4 batter life remaining. This is my second Triumph after having a bad ear speaker in the first one. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix this. I've read the posts and I am curious if it has anything to do with WIFI being on since WIFI is on all the time when I am home.

Oct 4, 2011I brought my E7 middle of May this year. I was happy in a few weeks, then the phone totally hanged. It was sent to service, and the whole hardware was changed to new.
Now it have worked very good in a long time, with only small issues that could be related to that i do many tasks a time etc that may do it slower and hanging in a few secs a time.
Middle of the day today, the phone started with a very confusing thing. I sent SMS, and i didnt understand that the reciver dosnt answared me. I restarted the phone. Now i got a lot of new SMS. I answared. It took a while, so i restarted the phone again, and then i got the answare.
And a rare thing. When i got the SMS when phone is on again, is that the time of reciving SMS was WHEN the phone WAS on before i restarted. So the phone gets the SMSes, but dosnt show or give any sign about that i have new!

Nov 11, 2015So I just got my phone and am having an issue. When on call pulling the phone away from my face doesn't turn screen on. That might be my glass screen protector. But hitting the power button doesn't wake it either and volume during call doesn't work. I can't hang up or anything until the call disconnects.

Dec 27, 2012Nokia E6 with Symbian Belle Refresh which I bought just a couple of days ago.It does not detect wifi internet connections at all, although they are available. When I go to settings -> connectivity and then select wifi, it searches connection for a while and then shows that none are found. Meanwhile, my old Nokia E72 remains connected to my home wifi without any problem... I am really surprised and disappointed. Also when I try to set up the connection manually, it doesn't work at all.I can't believe that such a device is being sold, a wifi connection is something extremely necessary nowadays in a smartphone. I was so attached to Nokia but I feel like it is my last Nokia phone because this is just unbelievable

Aug 1, 2010I'm currently using E72-1 , V 031.023 Alot of times, when i get an incoming calls, my phone freezes once i click the accept button, it freezes for like 20 seconds, then either accepts the call, or hangs up. Also, when i dial a number using the keypad, there is a delay, like, it takes 1-3 seconds between each number i press to display on the screen. The second account (IMAP) worked fine until today, when clicking on the relevant "button" just makes it blink, without opening the account the mail. A restart allowed me to see who the mail was from but not to open it, then the problem is the same until I restart the phone again.Otherwise no other signs of instability for a long time.

Feb 16, 2011This mobile phone is really suitable only for a garbage tray, it is always freezing and hungiing on, I always need to remove the battery cause the power button doesn't work, and it has really a LOT of bugs, but lets go to the point.
I was recently trying to update the firmware/software of the phone using a the USB cable provided by Nokia (which has a bad electrical contact) and sudenly the connection was lost. I did all the steps recomended by the software updater but now the Nokia E52 simply doesn't even turn on!
It's not possible any hard reset, because the phone doesn't even turn on! I already removed the battery and put it again as nokia tech team is always suggesting people to do..

Mar 29, 2011I have enabled security lock on my E7-00. When i try to charge it from computer via USB cable (nokia original that came with the device) it doesn't start to charge. The white led on the charger doesn't light up nor does the computer detect the device. I have to unlock the phone and enter the security code to get it charging.

Jul 29, 2010I purchased a new 32gb iPhone 4 from my local Apple Store. After everything was all setup, I walked around the store trying to replicate the "death grip" which I was able to do, mostly anyway. A few seconds go by and a screen pops up, very similar to the incoming call screen.
It was plank at the top where the number usually would go, and below that it said "Pwr on/off". At the bottom was the usual Accept / Decline buttons. The Apple genius immediately said "Oh, hold on a sec" and pressed the "Accept" button, and the screen disappeared. When I asked him about it, he was very very coy about it and said "Oh, it was a diagnostic screen, don't worry about it. It's gone and you won't see it again." I kept asking what the screen was and he kept deflecting the question.
Anyways, much of the screen description was coming from memory, so I'm not 100% sure it was exactly, but it was damn close. I wish I had time to take a screenshot. Anyways, has anyone else seen this screen before? What is it?

Dec 10, 2010i am using e52 with firmware 051.018 RM 469my problem is ..i cant receive any call in certain time and period. my caller complaint me that my fone is not responding... not power off or busy.not responding means, caller try to call me and after 10 to 15 sec of silence, my service provider system says "the number you have dialed is not responding..."and during that period, i try to make any call i receive "network busy" or "connection error."and same time, if i try to send sms , sms store in outbox and not sent.when i restart my fone, every thing work fine
