I can't download blackberry bridge 'cause I can't access my app world, it says here that "there is an issue with Blackberry app world. Blackberry app world must no close".

May 22, 2011I bought my BB curve 8520 and I've tried to install App World. It says that it is installed but when I go to my phone it's not there. I've looked everywhere and even used "show all". I've uninstalled and installed again, I tried to install from my blackberry instead of installing it from my computer and it doesn't appear. However, when I go to Options>advanced>applications it's there. What's wrong? I've been looking all around and I just don't get it.

Aug 4, 2012I got a problem in my trackpad, my trackpad doesn't work totally, I try to restore my old back up and it works again then suddenly when I update my bb app world it my trackpad doesn't work again, I try to delete applications that I think that may causes malfunctioning or freezing my trackpad, then, I totally wipe out my bb, but the problem is still the same, trackpad doesn't work, I am using OS6, I don't know whats the cause of this problem, I try to put my backup files again and trackpad doesn't work anymore when i wipe my bb.

Occasionally I will get an error message that the BB App World server can't be reached and I should check my connection. I've checked my internet and it works fine everywhere else. I can't tell you what icons vanished first, but certainly Blackberry App World was one of the first to dissapear, now my phone lock has gone although i can search it and its actually hidden, it won't un-hide...Blackberry App world doesn't exist at all any longer on my Bold and even when i downloaded it again, it won't appear.(not sure if there are other icons missing these are the only 2 i've noticed so far).It says i am running the latest software so i dont quite understand whats going on.I have rebooted several times, no luck.I have been on the Blackberry menu and looked for a way to unhide my lock icon and it wont do it.

Sep 16, 2012Have had the Bold for a couple yrs. Was missing App World icon for a while, then upgraded to the latest OS. Had the icon back for about a week, then it disappeared again. Battery pull doesn't help.The camera stopped working before the OS upgrade, and still doesn't work even after that. When I try to open it, I see the controls at the bottom of the screen for a while, it sits for a few minutes, then I get an error message "Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again." This happens even when I've closed everything else. Battery pull doesn't help this either.Tried the Device Self Test & the camera failed.

I've tried the option of setting via the Advanced Options > TCP/IP > APN and ticking the APN box and typing "Internet", and my App World still gives me the same error message, I rebooted my phone after the setting and tried to access the app world, still got an error message, i tried it without rebooting and the results are still the same. What do I do now?

Aug 20, 2011My BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. May 1, 2011I have a 8530 with OS5 and a couple hours ago I was prompted about the App World 3.1 update. I happily did the update but after the reboot I got this error:
"Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" And I get the same error every time I try to run App World. I have tried uninstalling App World and re-installing, Wipe the phone and install before restoring from my back up and I get the same error.So here I am now with an empty phone and no working App World to get my apps back.

If you want to use this application outside of wifi please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan" . A similar message about data plan appears when trying to access the facebook app at any pointI phoned vodafone and they said everything was fine at their end and I have all the correct data plan and bb services and keep directing me here.
