I am able to see all the messages and all the inbox, sent box, etc but I cannot exit messaging at all. I keep pressing the screen where the word "EXIT" is but nothing happens. Even when I receive calls, after the call is done, the phone keeps taking me back to the messaging screen..
View 4 RepliesI opened the Messaging from one of the shortcuts at the bottom.I checked my message. I clicked the back button twice to reach my home screen.I can see that my Active applications shows that Messaging is still running?I had to "Exit" from Messaging through that.My thought was, when I hit the back button frmo the Messaging screen, it should close/exit that from the background (i.e.) it should not list in the Active Applications window?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia C7, recently updated with Belle OS. Past couple of weeks, I am noticing "Messaging" app connects to the internet and uploads some data. This happens whenever I open Messaging to check my messages with my internet connection enabled.
I have checked for Virus/Spyware..etc, but nothing seems to be existing. I have Kaspersky Mobile security. I have also removed the thirdparty app's as well, but still I have the same issue.
If I access the Messaging app when my Internet connection is disabled, it will "Mobile Data Off", which means it tries to connect to internet.
My nokia messaging email is no more receiving and composing messages. Sometimes it just fails to log on. But when I check my email via internet, it shows messages that were received days ago and was not report in the nokia messaging email.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter reading all this threads about different issues with Nokia, here are my problems with the new Belle:
1st - the backup during installation DID NOT saved setting on my phone so I had to remake them all over again. The explanation I came up with is the new OS etc.
2nd - there is no option to see messaging as in normal view with inbox, Sent items, Delivery reports etc. Everything is shown as in conversation thus I can't personalize my view. Meanwhile there is still option in settings to receive delivery report which I can not see because it is not shown in conversation window. After some time I choose to restore factory settings and get back to Anna. Imagine my surprise when after rebooting the new OS was still on and this is NOT my original software.
3rd there are some other "small" but annoying changes, one of them is the fact I can not switch to battery saving anymore, can not use fast change of profile, if I don't have gadget for clock (and I don't) I need to go through menu in order to change alarm or time.
Basically I want to know is there a way to downgrade to a previous OS or should I bring my phone to the service?
the messages coming in the inbox is showing only the phone numbers instead of names in the contact...but in the conversations box its showing the name...is this normal with c7 or any solutions available.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E71 just update to the firmware 410.21.010. I did not recovered backup after the upgrade and I formatted the memory card, so it's completely clean.
Now, Nokia Email has appear as new included application so I would like to use it, but when I configure my email account (form a supported services: ovi, gmail, etc...), the wizard only configures my mobile for the typical IMAP client. It's strange, because I have a different E71 also update to this same firmare and Nokia Messaging works fine and creates the Nokia Messaging account.How could use Nokia Messaging with my E71?. Is there some way to create a Nokia Messaging account form the web instead from the phone?.
My C7 has issues with messages. Whenever I send a message it says for example "resend at 7:43" and at 7:43 it will say "resend at 7:46" and so on. I resolved this issue by software formatting but this issue is here again.

So my question is, how can I view the messages at the bottom of my inbox?? I've never used a touch screen before, so I was also wondering whether there is a quick way to get to the bottom of a long list.
While changing to memory card, interacting with messages become slow, and this time it happened that when a msg is received, the phone displayed a message 'Disk write error, retry or exit!' This doesn't happens when using phone memory. Using Nokia 5233.

I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
I have a Tytn ii that I managed to get Android running on. Android is run in RAM, so the Winmo full install is still there. A bunch of things in Android still don't work right, but that's not the question I have here: Is there any way to exit Android without pulling the battery of the phone? I've found lots of sites that say that it can be installed, lots that say how to install it, and lots that are working out functionality problems within Android (on non-native phones)--but none that address this question.

I got an iphone4 running on ios 5.0.1 .recently i installed a tweak named bite sms from cydia and from then my phone is stuck in safe mode and is not working even the touch in not working so that i could delete that tweak. i've tried to restore it (firmware 4.11.08) but i doesn't restore due to error 3194.

The last flashing process was a while back. I must have been a little rusty... Anyway, I today tried to install the 6.0.1 compatible TWRP Recovery on my Galaxy S6 920F and made several mistakes in the process using Odin 3.10.7 on my Windows PC (flashed a wrong file in AP, it was an .img and not a tar.md5). Now I'm still in the Download Mode and can't exit it at all. I tried the Home Button + Vol Up + Vol Down like 1000 times, but it still won't work. It really seems to be stuck. Odin finds the device, but when I try to re-flash the recovery the right way (at least I hope it is), it tries to establish a connection before flashing and after that it's stuck, too.

What can I do? Is there a way to bring this device back to life?
I searched other topics and clicked the "similar threads" crackberry offered but couldn't find anything that addressed this. I'm running OS 5 (.419, though I have a friend with me who is running the latest Verizon official and duplicates the same annoyance).
When I receive an SMS text message, the LED blinks as it should. But when I open it, it will continue to blink until I either respond or back out of the message. It's a minor annoyance I know, but does anyone have a fix for this?
I've been trying to exit the program but there isn't an option for it! Is it possible?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried almost everything there is to try from clean uninstall including deleting files in the registry folders etc etc of all DMs reboot and reinstall. still my DM 6 will not detect my phone but my windows has no problem seeing my phone.I had to uninstall everything and go back to DM5 that worked flawlessly. Fact that it works on DM5 allows me to rule out any hardware malfunction.
Lastly i noticed that there are users out there with this problem also have difficulty closing the DM6. whenever we try to close it, it will just hang there and we have to manually close it using task manger. I hope that the details given will be able to help technical support troubleshoot some sort of solutions.
I am perfectly fine with using DM5 but my future plan is to change my phone to the BB Torch. And with this current problem i wont be able to get my torch to work on DM6 on my computer. I hope that we can get some sort of solution. I am running windows XP sp3

This works very good, except that even though I have ES set to keep the connection open upon exit, the connection fails if I exit ES. The icon on the home screen actually shows connected, but it isn't until I launch ES again. I reinstalled the app but it won't do it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am new to android. Im an orderly person so I like to close everything I dont use. (I dont like that the back button doesnt close apps so I always use the menu button when I finish using something. However there are some apps that have a dedicated exit button. What bugs me is that even though I use the exit button, the thumbnails are still present in the menu. Did I change something, because I think the exit used to work properly in UC browser before? I mean if my memory serves me right the exit button seemed to bypass this problem before, so I didnt have to close the tabs in the menu. But now im just left confused.
Even if I end all active applications in the task manager, the thumbnail tabs remain in the menu. soo...is this normal?
