Since updating to the latest firmware my right hand navigation key now gives the list of applications rather than the features. I used to have my contacts on this key and now I only get a chpoice of different games and applications I never use. Is there any way to get the choice of phone features back on this key, same as there is on the left key?

My Nokia C6303 keeps telling me the memory is full although there is1GB card fitted with about 780MB free. It can see the card as it gives me the current status, free space etc.but it is not using the space. I have updated to the latest firmware and also tried a full factory reset to no avail.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have nokia C7 handset with symbian belle. The GPS navigation was working fine until recently but it has suddenely stopped working. The GPS locates my position, the navigation calculates the route..but after a while it says "GPS signal lost". Has it got anything to do with servers? connections? Because all other map apps are working fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have nokia C5-03. I was silly and updated the software and the maps. Till the updating method everything works fine. After updating, the gps navigation does not work in offline mode (in online mode works fine). When I switch to offline mode (with only built gps, ofcourse without A-gps) -the c5-03 can find the gps coordinates quickly in my house, so the hardwer works absolutely fine - and try to give a target in car driving mode, c5-03 tells me that from this place there is no road available with car. In pedestrian mode the situation is the same, only the message is a little different. I tried to delete the cities dir, and rebuild and reload all from nokia suite with PC, but no changes, Offline navigation does not work. I rebuild the new software again, but without success. how to down-grade to the previous working fw?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia C5-03 with the latest firmware, and now I managed to free 18MB of the phone memory, but when I try to determine a destination without tolls and with optimized routing for a distance of 300 km between the two cities it always says that the memory is full and to close some applications. When I use the navigation the only thing that is on is the Bluetooth but even when I turn it off it happens the same thing. Sometimes the phone restarts itself.

Maps 3.08 does not let me calibrate my compass (at least not by ticking once or twice at the compass). By consequence, while navigating it does not orientate the display with the top in the forward direction. I found a workaround by using a separate compass application, calibrate the compass there, and then Maps works perfect. There must be a easier way to calibrate the compass from within the Maps application.

Everytime I get the error 'navigation cannot start at this location' and it doesn't seem like the phone can ever pick up my location.I have tried un-installing and re-installing the application but to no-avail!I haven't even wasted my time calling Nokia Support, as they are totally useless!
getting very frustrated with this now. I have given my dad my N95 to help him get around but just cant get the map navigation to work. I downloaded the Nokia Map Loader (I had to go to a third party website as the Nokia links were all broken) and have the map/voices but when my dad tries to use the navigation it tells him he has to pay.Obviously, I know that Nokia have now made these services free to complete with other company's devices, I'm just being stupid and not going to the right place to download them. Overall very happy. Does Drive have turn by turn navigation wih specific names and exits? Right now it only says stuff like "turn now".
I have a Nokia 500 with Belle installed (vers: 111.021.0028) and Nokia Suite vers 3.6.36.On the 17.12.2012 I've installed the latest version of Romania maps: 00.02.47.103 and since then I get the same error message 'car navigation cannot start at this location'. I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address. It doesn't seem to have an actual issue with the location because I've tried several locations in Bucharest and got the same error.

The first application consuming 6MB of ram just stays in the ram until I reboot. Thus reducing the precious free ram. This was not the case with earlier 3.06 version.

Now I have this problem with the Nokia Suite not upgrading firmware without the sim card.I use nokia now mostly as a GPS and a Wi-fi net browsing device, so I would like to get the new map version since the current one (v3.01 09wk44 b01) keeps crashing when synchronizing favs. I downloaded the .sis file from softpedia (v3.03 10wk11 b04) but get certificate errors when trying to install it. Does anybody know where can I get a signed map, latest version for nokia n95, with a fix for the sync crash? (It does get sync'ed but closes every time)

I use it pretty often as i need to travel alot.But there is something that i dont really understand, is how can i use Nokia Drive without having internet connection, with this i mean no wifi or 3G or whatever so i dont have any connection, can i use it or not, and how?Because when im abroad, and normally my roaming is set off, but when i enter adress it cant find location etc, because i dont have connection, so i need to set my roamin on for just finding the location and then i set it off, but it is stupid tbh.I did predownload map where im in etc etc, altho i read on noika that it is possible to use it without connection but ... maybe i miss something?

View 3 Replies View Relatedtried to update my v3.06 11wk23 b05, version 0.2.45.109 to the "new" v3.08 but ovi suite doesn't recognise it.
i have tried multiple ways of getting it but i am not succeeding.
(1) ovi suite (with phone connected) would only do a country update (new zealand)
(2) ovi store via mobile service tells me i have v.308 but a physical check as per above clearly states i ony have v3.06.
(3) software update on the N8 doesn't recognise a maps update.
(4) i have tried the "updates" in the maps application itself but comes up with "the most recent map is already installed on your phone. no updates available. your map version: 00.02.45.109 release date: 30.11.2011"
how do i get the latest version of Nokia Maps v3.08 for N8 if all sources have failed?
