Jul 16, 2012I have disabled "packet data" ( whatever that means?) as I was told to, to disable the phones internet connection via the network. ( if I want to go online I connect via wifi) But... now heres the thing, IF Im out & about & there is no wifi available, if I try & open Opera mini, it connects! Obviously this is thru my supposedly disabled network! How can this be? AND more importantly, how can I turn off all instances of the phone connecting in this way?Can I ask my provider ( Orange) to completely disable it at their end?

The opera mini comes loaded under me applications. The opera mini gives the message "failed to connect to the Internet ... Contact service provider for Internet settings" . What do I do? Jul 4, 2010I have recently upgraded my firmware on an E71 (Orange UK) I can download maps via the wifi as I need them, but am having unknown errors when I try to load maps via OVI Suite - again latest version . There is plenty of space on my memory card. The recommended course of action is to delete the CITIES folder and the qf file. The latter is fine, but with 'CITIES' I get messages like 'the folder is not empty'. Folders that seem empty are said not to be, and folders the appear to be there and empty 'can't be found'. At present I have some of the contents of the cities folder deleted but not all of it. Is there a workaround for this?

Jan 14, 2012I lost the Ovi store icon from my phone today. I can see Ovi store app when I check application manager>installed apps. But it is not there in the menu. So I cant access it by any means. I tried installing the new qml store client. Even that gets installed but not available thru menu. I can confirm it is installed in the phone memory as I can see it in the installed apps list. But no way I can use it since there is no icon for it. Also I have lost my internet search engine which is used to search web content thru native browser.
