after my provider had changed my SIM card, I now can not use my blackberry email address because its "in use" by my old/ former whatever.How can I use my former blackberry email address and unlock it for using it again?
I am getting totally frustrated as I am unable to register my email address on my Blackberry as I don't know my Blackberry ID email address, every link I have followed takes me to the registration page but you need the blackberry ID email address to register and I don't have this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to get my email address back ever since my latest BB device upgrade to a Bold 9900. I wanted to switch my bb email address which is xxx@mobility.blackberry.net. (note that those x's represent 3 letters.) When I called my carrier to ask them to connect that email address to my current PIN they said they are unable to do so, as they are getting error messages that emails must have a minimum of 4 characters, and that I must take my concerns to blackberry support. Talk about passing the buck, but I guess I will give it a try. Is there anyway I can get my email back or is it history?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI like my E72 but I have two problems that really annoy me.
1. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). for some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. if I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
2. Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone.
Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.
I cannot access neither add or edit my contacts. I receive this error message, :Uncaught Exception: Application net _rim_bb_addressbook_app (289) is not responding; process terminated

I'm trying to set up my personal email on the 9700, but it seems that i have only one option, Blackberry Enterprise Server option. Is that suppose to be that way? I don't seem to have the " I want to create or add an email address" option.

Just found that there is no longer an option to reply using a different email address on the 9700. On the 8900, after you press reply, the top line says "send using" and you can click on that to choose which email to reply it with. Anyone know how to solve this issue?

I have contacted both our hosting company and Vodacom (my BB service provider) neither are able to assist me?
