View 1 Replies View RelatedThe first smartphone I got was the iPhone...The first iPhone that existed pretty much... I liked it but then I started a Telecom company and since we were partnered with Telus and I wanted to get paid a percentage of my bill, I switched over to the Blackberry WORLD PHONE...8830 if I'm not mistaken. I had a lot of issues with that phone and went through 9 of them until I got tired of it and switched back to the solid iPhone.Since then I got a Mac and my address book syncs with my phone. One of the only things stopping me right now from switching to the Blackberry 9900 is a question really.
#1. Can I sync my MAC address book with the Bold 9900?
#2. When I port over my 1650 contacts to my new phone, will all the notes and birthdays go with it..If it can't be done, I guess it's iPhone 5.
From the old decide 8700, how can I copy my address book to my SIM card.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying to create a sub folder in my address book & now I can't find my original add book. The add book icon is still there, but there are no contacts in it. The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter several years of easily syncing my BlackBerry Curve 8530 to my Mac, I suddenly can't do it. I get the following error message: The Address Book database cannot be accessed for synchronization. For help resolving this issue, refer to KB19454 in the BlackBerry Desktop Software Knowledge Base.I can't find KB19454 in the database. I can't find a way to call BlackBerry to resolve this. My Sprint store won't touch my Mac (and vice versa).

Upgraded some applications from BB World (don't know if there is a connection) and tried adding a new contact but this error message appears: Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app (216) is not responding; process terminated (by the way the two upgrades were for Twitter and BB Messenger)Is it coincidence that I've just installed a couple of upgrades and this has now happened?
View 9 Replies View RelatedCurve 8530 on Verizon Wireless Access to Corporate resources and email via BESI also access Gmail from the deviceRight now I am not synching over the air - that has never worked. I'm using Desktop Manager, and recently downgraded to Version 5.01. When I connect the device and configure for Address Book sync the application starts the process, then craps out without synching. I've rebooted the PC, reloaded the application without success.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to synch my adress book with my corporate BES 4.1. It was working fine up until a week ago when I noticed some contacts were not downloading from my outlook address book. After trying to download the address book a couple of times I wiped the addresses out by deleting the Desktop (SYNC) file from the service book and tried to resync with the server. This time it looks like it is downloading all of the addresses (1034 of them) but when I go to the adress book there is still nothing there. The Desktop(SYNC) file reappears but no addresses.

How can I get a new contact list to over ride an existing contact?
be aware that I have more than 2,100 well sorted contacts in a current T-Mobile 4G Slide contact list. I think that the deleting is the cleanest solution, but I'll try anything that works.
I have a curve, 8520. When I add a new contact to my address book, I find that it disappears when I remove the battery and reboot my phone or a few days later. However, older contacts that were saved on my previous phone, before I had my blackberry, do not get deleted. It is not the memory card as I tried saving a number without the memory card and the same thing happened.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8520 and it has never given me any problems. Yesterday, I tried to edit a contact in my address book and nothing happened, it didn't give me the option like the 'roll' button had frozen up or something. Also, the phone froze completely and I had to switch it off (which took a few seconds) and then I had to switch on again. I got an error message of some kind saying an application was not running or working.
