a week ago i got an mms whith a sound, ever since then whenever i put the phone down after making. receiving a call or miss call this sound that was in the mms plays! i deleted the mms but it still plays. today i noticed when i go into the media files and open / close the video camera or vocie notes recorder then it also plays.
how can i remove or deactivate this sound?
recently i noticed that the sound is not comming from my i phone 4s so i needed to restore it as it was earlier. So i decided to do it by restoring it without itunes. Now it is taking too long to restore it, it is still going on since 3 hours .

I have the iPhone 4s and have been having trouble with the audio. So far I have't had a problem with siri, income calls or my alarm but I am not getting any audio for anything else (ex music, netflix, youtube, etc) I have tried all of the suggestions I could find but so far nothing has worked.Â

I have been using nokia e7 for nearly a year now until two days before it suddenly went wrong. There is no sound at all from the speaker no matter I received calls or sms. I found out that when I played songs in the video, there is no sound either. However, I could hear the songs and calling, sms tones ringing when I plugged in my headphone. It is not the two tone beep others have posted about, nor is it the usual problem with headphones. The sound occurs in multiple audio apps. The default music player worked fine up until about a week ago (maybe two?), then the noise started. At first, a secondary app worked fine, but today that started making the noise as well. Force quitting the default app worked for a while, stopping the noise when I started the app back up, but now it goes back to the noise almost immediately. What this noise is or how to stop it permanently?

I was wondering if any of you had this issue. I have a LUmia 1520.3 and everything works perfectly, except that if I am listening to music and I get a txt message. If that happens after the message is read and I return to the music the phone starts to play thru the speakers and the headphones.at the same time. There is a significant reduction in the volume thru the headphones but it still plays. I have tried different headphones and the problem persist over the podcast app as well.

The "Play Sound: Always" for selected contacts should override any and all profiles set. In my case what I'm trying to do is to receive notifications or sounds from my family while the device is charging and in bedside mode but ONLY from them. I set a "Sleep" profile that is silent with the selected contacts to ring Always and it doesn't work.

View 2 Replies View Relatedfor some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I plugged my earbuds into my s6. The external sound did not mute, and the no sound came thru the earbuds. What's up. Note: I changed out earbuds, just in case, the first pair were bad.

Strangeness.I have great sound from iTunes, but no sound from any other app, and no ringer from my phone. I have tried drying out the earphone socket with a hairdryer, and plugging/unplugging while listening to an iTunes song - all to no avail. I have checked al my settings, and all I can find are set to make sounds heard. Now I am flummoxed.
