The instructions say to go to the address book, click the track wheel and then go to SIM phone book.Well I dont have the SIM phone book option for some reason.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had my BB for about a month. Yesterday it froze solid and is now out for repair (two to six weeks... we'll see) I now have a Curve 8530 as a loaner, which will keep me going in the mean time.
I moved the SD card, and up came all my photos, etc.
I'm on the road a lot, so don't spend much time in front of PC, so had never synced my address book (nor have I installed the desktop manager) so now I need to re-enter all my contacts info from scratch (my phone provider moved them from my old phone during purchase... that phone is now gone).
Not wanting to do this twice, I navigated to Contacts - Options - Storage Options and selected 'Media Card' instead of 'Internal Memory' so that they would follow me back to my own phone when it comes back from repair. I really should have set that option on my own phone in the first place, but didn't know any better... it would have been great if my contact data was portable on the SD card instead of locked inside the dead phone, but live and learn.
"But wait", you're thinking, "MY phone doesn't have that option. What version of Contacts is that Curve using??" so I'll sadly admit that last paragraph is fictional. More sadly, the rest of the story is not and I'm now faced with a month of frustration as I reconstruct my contact database before I either get my unfrozen phone back, or worse, get a blank replacement. At least I can cheer myself up browsing those 200 photos I snapped during the last month, as they were all safely stashed on that 16GB SDhc chip. My kingdom for those extra few kilobytes of contact info...
Some time in the future I hope that RIM will mandate this option for ALL their applications. It is great to say that the application data is "securey stored inside the phone" and I understand there are security issues with having data exposed on removable media. But to not have at least the OPTION of keeping MY data portable is not acceptable. Provide an admin lock-out for the option for corporate/enterprise customers, sure. They have the infrastructure for backing up their users' configurations. But please allow private users like me, who rarely (or never) sync with DM, have more control of where things are stored.
i have a xperia x8. i have 2 gb memory card,ok.hen i download apps, they're going to the phone card and it size very small. i want to move these apps from phone card to memory card.

Can recieve and send new messages.3 are Sprint, 3 are Nextel They all use OWA on their configuration and there is no BES in the equation.2 users still on the old exchange.....no issues at all.5 other branch locations made the same move onto the same 2010 server and they had no issues.......this is doesnt make sense at all.Could there be a cached issue with the blackberry units for the email address?

I have a jailbroken 2G (used with T-mobile) and just bought a 3gs that seems to be unlocked, jailbroken, and at 3.1.2. What now? Do I just move my sim card from one to the other? How? Do I need some kind of tool? I don't know what all of this is but the new (lightly used) one has blackra1n and cydia listed on it and I was told it was untethered.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi bought the LG G3 D855 phone using android kitkat 4.4 but am now regretting because it was advertised that it had 2 GB ram but actually gives me only 450mbs ram(this is the biggest factor with speed lagging performance etc) and on top of that does not allow downloaded apps to either manually transfer or automatically to the sd card. meanwhile using the file manager as the word says can only transfer files manually not apps. After factory resetting the memory gets full quickly and therefore the phone is back to its sluggish ways.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Galaxy S6, with a 64Go microSD card and a microSD adapter (to read it on my phone). I would like to install the Deezer application to synchronize my music on my external SD card, but I can't move the application to SD card (no option available in Settings).
I can choose from the application itself where to download the music, but the external SD card isn't available. So I would like to install Deezer on my SD card, but I don't know how.
I just purchased a 32G SD card for my Galaxy S5. I installed the SD card and have been trying to move apps and pictures to the card, but when I try I get a notification saying there is insufficient space on the card. When I go into the settings and check the storage, the device storage is maxed at 16G, but the SD card shows 29G of available space. Also when I first put in the SD card, my camera automatically saved new pictures to the card but now they are all missing from my phone (there were only about 10 pictures) and I am worried they were somehow deleted from the SD card.
