X8 has come with a very low phone memory!and the problem is i'm not able to move my applications to SD card I tried app2sd, and also i tried to move using android assistant but none worked for me!!when surfed the net about this http://www.xperia-x8.com/install-apps-to-sd-card/it says we have to upgrade to android 2.2 by which we loose our warranty..any other way to move the apps??

My questions are:
- how to force my mobile to always save the photos on the card?

I put the 16 gb card in and copied the apps from phone to this new card. while all other apps are working, none of the three preinstalled popcap games are working with the new sd card. In fact, the screen shows me that only 20mb is left on the device and 2GB are on the SD card for the app. But when I go to my SD card the folder where the OB files are supposed to be is empty, and my available internal storage did not change. So, I thought I would get a bigger card and bought a 16GB microSD card as I would like to put more games and alot of my music on it as well
How would I go about transferring or copying all the files that are on the 8GB card to my 16GB card without losing any downloaded data i.e large game files and game saves? CAN THIS BE DONE? As I am new to Android, any step by step advice would be great by the way!
One thing I did try was copying all the data on the 8GB card to a folder on my PC (whilst enabling the 'view all hidden files and folders' option in XP) and copied the folder contents to the new 16GB card (pre formatted to FAT32). I put the new card in the phone but cannot access the games without having to re-download the GBs of data needed and all my games progress has disappeared along with a few games and some needed game data. e.g NFS Hot Pursuit starts but will not play!

So is it possible to set the dowloads to go to my SD card automatically? And how do I move already installed ones there? And is it a good idea to put them onto my SD card?
