Mar 8, 2015I've been trying to both move files to the sd card on my LG G3 and edit them, yet I don't seem to be able to do either. I updated the phone to lollipop through ATT.

HTC One M8 :: SD Card - Stored Files Move To Phone Storage
Sep 17, 2014I have a factory unlocked version of an HTC One M8 on AT&T running 4.4.3. I noticed a week ago I was having issues with Pocketcasts freezing. It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

I can transfer them to a temp folder on my PC, then move them to the card. But, can't do it directly from phone to card as I used to be able to.
It still works fine on Win7.

Jan 6, 2012I have just purchased a shiny new Xperia PLAY a week ago, it came with a 8GB microSD card and within a few days I filled the card up. So, I thought I would get a bigger card and bought a 16GB microSD card as I would like to put more games and alot of my music on it as well
How would I go about transferring or copying all the files that are on the 8GB card to my 16GB card without losing any downloaded data i.e large game files and game saves? CAN THIS BE DONE? As I am new to Android, any step by step advice would be great by the way!
One thing I did try was copying all the data on the 8GB card to a folder on my PC (whilst enabling the 'view all hidden files and folders' option in XP) and copied the folder contents to the new 16GB card (pre formatted to FAT32). I put the new card in the phone but cannot access the games without having to re-download the GBs of data needed and all my games progress has disappeared along with a few games and some needed game data. e.g NFS Hot Pursuit starts but will not play!

Shortly after I got the phone, I bought a 128GB card on eBay. It arrived a few days ago. Right after I got it is when the problem started. I tried moving files from my phone to the card. But then I noticed my files disappearing on the card. So I tried a smaller 64GB card to see if the 128GB was faulty. Neither of the cards have worked. For hiding video files I am using gallery vault app. The problem is that I have a video file (wmv format) 1 gb in size on my SD card and when I try to hide the file using gallery vault or any other video hiding app the video file reduces phone memory. I was told that when a file in SD card is encrypted it is getting stored in the same destination (SD card). For eg. a file in SD would remain in SD even after hiding. So why does the files which are hidden is reducing my phones memory. I had the same problem with my S4 phone.

Apr 5, 2010Two Samsung U800, two 8GB micro-SD cards, about 6,000 files of mixed type (videos, music, pictures) in a lot of folders and sub-folders and those files are supposed to be on both memory cards in identical orders to be used in both phones. Either phone refuses to see some of the files even though they very clearly are on the respective memory card.
Reformatted the cards multiple times, uploading the files taking for ever, only to find that now some other files are "not there" according to the phone while they are pretty damn well "there" according to the computer. Pushing the sam files again via bluetooth results in "file name in use" so the phone KNOWS the files are there, just refuses to show them.
