is there any way to move messages from the phone to sim or the micro sd card?i have a data cable and can plug it into my computer to do it manually. i just dont know how.

I also tried to change the setting of the email app to save all messages to the SD card, but it would not allow it.
Hello all! I recently had to get a new phone because my daughter broke the lcd to my CU720.I was getting ready to transfer all of my picture and video files to a micro sd card before it broke. The phone still works, however, I cannot remember how to navigate through the menus to transfer those files to the memory card
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone (a nokia e52) is getting quite low on memory so I want to move my messages to the microSD card. I had, however played with this setting when I first got the phone. Because of this, when I now select the microSD card as the location for messages, the SMS/mms messages received since I first changed that setting are not transferred to the memory card. Does anyone know how to transfer these newer messages? I have tried creating a new folder, moving messages there and then changing the location setting but the new folder and its contacts did not transfer to the memory card.

I have always stored my SMSs on my micro SD memory card with no problems, but today they completely disappeared, I have nothing left in my Inbox, Drafts or Sent folders - over a year's worth of messages that I wanted to keep!It happened today when I went into the photo settings on the N86 and noticed that my photos were being saved in 'Mass Storage', so I changed the option to 'Memory Card'. For some strange reason this seems to have had the effect of wiping / overwriting all my saved SMSs on the memory card. Strangely other files seem to have been left untouched, e.g. in the document folder.
Can anyone help?
How do I save my text messages to my micro sd card all at once, or do I have to do it one by one? Please explain how to save text conversations to my card so I can later access them.Also, on the other end of the spectrum, how do I delete all my SMS texts at one time? I can easily figure out how to do it one by one, but I have over 100 that I want to do all at one time.

View 1 Replies View Related2 days ago my phone randomly looses signal, (I'm in the middle of London in location at which I would normally get at least 4 bars 'H' signal), I wait for 10 minutes still nothing so I try and turn it off, the phone freezes/gets stuck with the 'phone shutting down' message on display.At this point I decide to just take the battery out and put it back in, after doing so the phone will not turn on what so ever. When I get home that evening I try to charge it, nothing, no lights and still won't turn on.
Taking the battery out again, followed by the sim card and memory card I notice that the memory card has a crack in it, all the way across and just under the gold contacts. I think nothing of it as surely this couldn't have happened while it was in the phone and must have been there the whole time, so put everything back in and try again. Nothing. Open it up again and take out the memory card, leaving it out this time I try again and the phone starts up.So Sony Ericsson,
Been having my Z3 for 3 months now running Android lollipop, I installed a new 128GB micro Sd few a month ago and it was working properly until a week ago, I restarted my phone and all applications on SD went missing, I couldn't access any application of them all am getting is an icon of blue print with a red SD circle ND if I try to access it an error pops up "application not found".
I plugged the phone to my laptop still I couldn't access the Sd card, so I took it off the phone and tried accessing it through an SD adapter and it worked fine, I can find everything properly saved in the card.
Tried formatting it and installing it again in my Z3, MY PHONE recognized it Instantly, but after restarting the phone all applications went missing again.
I've been trying to both move files to the sd card on my LG G3 and edit them, yet I don't seem to be able to do either. I updated the phone to lollipop through ATT.

Today I tried moving instagram and fb messenger to the sd card from phone memory and when I tried opening those apps they froze where I had to remove the battery . It stored its files on the SD card so I moved them to the phone storage. It seems to be working fine now. This week I have been taking pictures with my HTC M8 and the gallery freezes and the picture will turn blank with a triangle in it. The camera stores pictures on the SD card also. If I touch the picture the phone locks up.

1. Moved twitter app to sd card: It took around 10-15 mins and after that i couldnt open twitter. I had to uninstall it and then install again to use it and in the process lost the data.
2. Moved all my images from phone to sd card but it didnt free up phone memory at all and sd memory filled up
