About 1 hour ago (8am CET) i updated to the new blackberry messenger, the normal way using my phone.
After updateing rebooted as was needed, and now my phone keeps on rebooting. When restart gets to about 75% my screen turns all white and it starts all over again. Have tried a batterypull, dont know what else to do.

I noticed earlier this week that my BB Messenger App Icon has gone missing, I saw I had a message come to me and went to answer it but couldn't get to read it until I went to Switch Application mode where I saw it but it's not fully highlighted. I found that I could get my messages this way.Why would this happen.I proceeded to uninstall the app and reinstall it after going right through the review page in BB App World, when completed I tried again to find it and move it to my home page folder but still can't see it anywhere; what should I do now?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI brought blackberry torch last year in Nov and is still in warranty period. Few days back, my bb started rebooting on its own. The reboot would start, halt in between and again restart. This means that fone is unable to restart completely. I tried connecting it to PC and do a virus scan but since the phone did not reboot completely, virus scan was not possible. By no other means am I able to start the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Torch recently started restarting every minute or so. It turns off and then shows the restart screen with the load bar at the bottom. The bar loads all the way, the phone turns on, and all of the security tests pass and it seems fine for about one minute, then repeats the process. I have not installed any new apps recently.
Fixes that I tried that did not work: Update the device software via Blackberry Desktop Manager (which I believe completely reinstall software) and Manual battery pull (with subsequent restart).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9810 with the OS 7. Outside of the apps that were preinstalled with the phone, the only apps I have added are gmail and yahoo mail. I have 201.9 MB of free space in app storage, 6.2GB free in total media storage, and 3.2 gb free on my media card.
The device restarts on its own. Started off gradually, maybe once a day. And it would do it then, after sitting idle for a while and I pick it up, sliding out the keyboard would trigger a reboot. Then it would do that 2-3 times a day. I was thinking it had a defect in the slide out qwerty. Now it does it more frequently and has started doing it in the middle of calls. It has rebooted 3 times already this morning within an hour. One time without me even touching it, I just happen to see the screen come back on as it was booting up.
my n900 restarts everytime it goes to sleep wether it times out or i use the slide lock thing, i have flashed the firmware with the newest and the oldest ones using the NSU and the flasher util, I have also flashed the emmc.The code when using terminal with cat /proc/bootreason is 32wd_to everytime. The only time it doesnt reboot is when I have media player open playing a song in which case it work as it is suppoed to. I can use the device for hours without a reboot aslong as I dont let it go to sleep.

I updated my brother phone to ics from 2 weeks ago and since then the phone got so laggy and slow the phone got 5-6 sec to open and it restart on its own alot. So I did a master rest and deleted everything on the phone or sd card. The phone got better and faster but again it did restart on its own even without doing heavy function on it. So I moved on and did a software repair from the pc companion .. but still the phone restart and just freeze on its own.

Now my xoom boots up then restarts then tries to install the update but then displays the android logo with an esclamation mark.Either I need a way to stop the update from trying to be installed, a way for it to get installed or a way to wipe the whole tablet and start fresh.

Before I installed the update, I did a back up of my phone contents. Now, after the update I can't restore the backup because the phone keeps restarting. My Ovi Suite is the latest version (v2.1.1.1). Is this a known issue and when will Nokia be releasing a patch for this update to fix the issue?

Phone started to update (it turned off and started updating) and suddenly communique came out telling me that my phone is no longer connected. Sony PC Companion told me to unplug it and restart, after that my phone keeps restarting all the time.Â

But it won't stop going from the samsung screen, to the AT&T scree, to the optimizing apps screen, and loading maybe 12/65 apps, and then going black, and then back to the samsung screen. I have got an xperia Z3 device and so far everything has been working fine. Since the latest android update however (lollipop), my phone is constantly rebooting itself, when i want to perform a simple restart. I tried the pcc repair tool twice already. it works, but as soon as i want to restart my device, it gets stuck in a reboot loop.

last two days i got my new z3 devise my first android handset after update i experiensed two problem first was the blank black screen and the notification and quick setting panel was not sliding properly so i decided to reinstal android using sony pc companion after update i switched my phone itkeep restarting continuously every time start installing progams it show customizing apps and then restart and do the same finally i could fix it when i got my 64gb sd card out of phone and switch it on, it work good with no issues.

The phone just kept rebooting itself after being on the lock screen for a few seconds. I booted it into recovery mode and factory resetting and wiping the cache but after the setup screens it just keeps restarting again.

Phone becomes very hot and it is very complicated to turn off bluetooth because it keeps restarting and screen is mainly frozen when it appears. I tried put out the battery, but when I turn on the device, bluetooth is on and everything happening again. Everything is ok when I manage to turn off bluetooth.
