Jun 22, 2011I'm need help in changing my avatar on my Blackberry Torch. I can only use the pre set ones. I've downloaded a picture to my phone. It goes in my pictures, under the avatar icon. can click on it but won't save as bbm icon.

I don"t seem to have a problem with any of the other pictures I took around the same time, just this one. i have to add that something weird did happen during this time (taking and sending pictures) and I shut the phone off and it seemed okay again.

Nov 19, 2012now two weeks ago i got message for system update .version 4.1b.0.587 . i very happy to update it.. because my mind say all problem especially apps to move to sd card -- or when download its a selection phone memory or sd card. will may be solve in update. i update my phone. after a week i go to xperia gallery then select a picture from internet catched then click to right side button .. there no option for delete. now i can't delete a photo in my xperia gallery. when i click right button there only 4 option. 1.share 2, details, 3 select all 4 deselect all. no more any option. how its set to no save any file from internet. when i see some picture from facebook or any web page its automaticly saving to xperia gallery. so kindly inform me what can i do for the matter.

I have some of the same pictures in both albums and I only want to keep the picture library album. Jun 2, 2011How to delete unwanted picture data from gallery (XOOM) It's not that simple, in this case. I recently discovered somehow I had downloaded over 490 images into my gallery. Some 21 say Blogger pictures, and 459 are entitled from my Wordpress blog. I don't have a clue how they got on my tablet, and there are many duplicates. The option to delete was not there, just a bunch of places to send the pictures to: Picassa, Gmail, email, etc.
Go to Settings > Applications>Manage Applications > All, and scroll down to find Gallery. Tap to open it up, do a Force Stop first, if open. Then tap Clear Data. I only had 12 pictures on my tablet at this point so I emailed them all to myself, in the event they went poof. Then I held my breath, hit Clear Data, then went in and looked at my Gallery. The downloaded data was gone, all 490+ pictures, and the best part is, my pictures were still there! Those, I can delete from the Xoom, no problem.
Next, I went back into my Gallery, and to my dismay, right before my eyes, those 490+ pictures that were gone, began reloading back into my gallery! Where are they coming from?!?! 21 of them say Blogger Photos, and 459 are entitled "Stella's Blog". I don't have either app on my tablet, I can access either blog by using my browser, and have only done so a couple times. Next, I rebooted the tablet, went back to check the Gallery, and yes, the images were gone, but then they came right back again....where are they coming from and how do I get rid of them permanently?

Sep 10, 2012In the last few weeks I've been having issues with MMS - I used to be able to send and recieve MMS fine, and it was instant, but now when I try and send an MMS it fails for no apparent reason. I thought it may have been because of picture size or phone capatbibility, but the sizes are fine and I've sent pictures to these people before so it can't be to do with their mobile. Also when I receive MMS it takes ages to download, and it used to be instant. I've checked all my settings with MMS and encryption and they all seem fine.
Also, recently when I upload photos to facebook they either don't upload or they don't show in my news feed. Is that a mobile thing, or a facebook thing? I've tried asking people at facebook about this and no replies as of yet. Again, checked all my settings, they seem fine.

2 degrees sent me the instructions below. Seams crazy it says that on most blackberries you wont be able to use data functions or send picture messages - is there any way around this. I can't follow the instructions - must be for a different phone and the first link doesn't even work.For facebook I want it to connect using my home wireless but it just says it can't use my data plan - which I do not have or want to use.
