Is there any way or apps to change the default font style/character of email?As we know default font style/character for email on Blackberry is Times New Roman 12.
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to remove East Asian Characters and Font Support from my Blackberry Torch 9860 Os 7.1 using desktop manager 7.
When i mark them as remove and click on apply to make the changes after some time application list is reloaded with no changes that is character support packages are not removed. They are consuming around 20mb space on my phone.
Is there anyway to change the display font style in the ray? Like in samsung phones?? Its really cool.. Also recently updated to ICS, which is really super!

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to 5.1.1 I noticed that the font color of the messages that I've sent before the update (5.0.2) and after the update (5.1.1) are different and it annoys me. The old messages are darker in color and the new ones are light grey in color.
What's really bad is that the grey color gives an impression of the message still pending to be sent.

However, if I open my Yahoo emails on the Blackberry and select 'Compose email' it will automatically send my email from my 'Default email' which is my other email address. I can of course change the 'send from...' setting but I often forget which is annoying when the email has already gone. I have tried all ways to change the 'Default email' setting but I can't find out a way of doing this.

my calender is using the wrong email address when I send invites. and I don't seems to be able to change my default email mailbox after upgrading to belle.
I just purchased the 9800 and I need to change my default browser. On the 9700 you can go to Settings/Options/Advanced Options/Browser and then change the default browser settings.

The prior gmail account I was using is beginning to be inundated with spam and it has got to go.After searching I've found this: go to home. Click grid. Click all apps. Click email. Enter a new email, pop etc. There is no option for anything of the sort and from that point the grid button doesn't do anything. Prior to upgrading my OS to 6.0, the sender would automatically default to the email account I am composing my email from. After the upgrade, now I have to manually select the email address from the "Send Using" drop-down. It defaults to [Default] and not hello@hotmail.com. This is just an added step that is tedious when I am sending out emails from different accounts.

I am having difficulty resetting the Contact List default, so I can synchronize my phone and Outlook email contacts and calendar. I recently added a gmail account and this has become the default. I need to reset the Contact List back.I have deleted the gmail account from my phone and restored older backups, this doesn't work.
After finally convincing my new Style to sync with my BES service (had to sync with a NEXTEL device twice before the BES server caught a clue), the Desktop mail account chimes with Sanguine Remix when new messages arrive, at the default volume of the selected profile. I've tried changing the playback sound for all obvious notifications in the selected Profile away from Sanguine Remix and the sound played back as Sanguine Remix isn't associated any longer to any of the Profile's options.Any ideas where the sound notification can be changed for the Desktop (BES synched) account? Right now I have to mute all ringers (Silent sound Profile) in order for it not interrupt my sleep. I get hundreds of alerts every day and even with Exchange rules marking messages as read and moving them to a specific folder other than the inbox, BES is catching a small percentage before Exchange marks them as read, and doing what BES does best, forwarding the messages to my phone.
Neither my hotmail nor gmail accounts have this problem since they have an option in profiles and I have configured them to remain quiet.Under Messages-Notifiers for selected Profile:Email: gmailEmail: hotmail Level 1PINtext MessagesVisual voice mail I am going to try Phone Calls Only and edit It to include Text Messages. I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". It keeps doing this repeatedly. I have done a soft and hard reset (by removing battery) and have updated software but nothing seems to help.
