Nov 30, 2015Mine show as grey. I've currently selected red as the colour theme. The text bubbles used to show red but then I started messing with various colour schemes and it seems to be stuck on grey no matter what I do. As well when I receive an incoming call the answer button shows as grey. Seems weird.
The red texts were also when I had my sim in slot 1. I noticed my signal strength is significantly better in slot 2 than slot 1.

Dec 15, 2012After updating to 5.1.1 I noticed that the font color of the messages that I've sent before the update (5.0.2) and after the update (5.1.1) are different and it annoys me. The old messages are darker in color and the new ones are light grey in color.
What's really bad is that the grey color gives an impression of the message still pending to be sent.

Aug 19, 2015Since the last update (August 2015), whenever I type some letters letters (one, sometimes 2) from the beginning of the word disappear before I can finish typing the word. This causes autocomplete to think I'm typing a completely different word.
E.g., I tried to type "think" - the "t" disappeared by the time I had gotten to the "i"(despite it initially appearing initially), making the phone think that the word is starting with "h", and leading to issues when I press space (despite typing think perfectly, the phone autocorrected to the nearest matching word starting with H as "h" was now the beginning letter)
This has only been an issue since updating my phone this week. I thought it might have been the swipe function messing up, but turning that off, it's still causing me issues when I type normally.

Nov 29, 2015Every few days texting takes on a life of its own, starts randomly and rapidly composing nonsensical strings of letters and words which I cannot stop. The X/erase button does not work. Putting my finger within the text results in green trails. I must turn off or restart my phone to stop this behavior.
Have had the phone about 2 weeks; only added 2 apps - weather underground and pedometer which did not affect the phone at time of adding them.
I close my apps faithfully, having learned to do that when my phone started flashing webpages rapidly as well as the text feature going wonky.
Also, some text messages have to be downloaded to read them.

Mar 24, 2011Well a couple of months ago, on bbm, if I was to type a message it would delete what I was saying and randomly change to symbols instead of letters, and it would be stuck on alt. Recently, I have not had the charger for three days, as my brother took it, so my phone was dead for three days. When I got the charger back and charged it up, the keyboard wouldn't work, then it would go dead even though I am pushing the button that turns it on.
