When I turned my Torch on this morning, the calendar icon had been changed. Instead of the usual picture, it just has two letters "QW". how I can get the original icon back?
View 1 RepliesDid you notice your rss feeds icon changed? I just noticed mine a few minutes ago. My icon used to be an orange square-looking icon but now it's an abstract-looking yellow-green icon. I didn't update or changed anything on my phone. Is anyone else noticing that? The alert icon which shows when you have a new feed is still orange but when I open the app, the icon on the left of each feed is that abstract-looking yellow green icon.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have an iphone 4 and have the unfortunate luck of having a PC (long story but my next purchase WILL be a macbook pro). I want to separate my iphone calendar appointments by color which I can do in outlook. On outlook I have selected different appointments by color which appears accurately on my PC. When icloud syncs the changes the colors stay the same on my iphone. Now in the past microsoft has been the fault of my problem vs. apple but my iphone doesn't seem to be following the color commands of my PC.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Bold 9700 a week ago.I got the synchronisation with my PC's Outlook working for calendar and contacts OK.Two days ago I set up the Blackberry so I could get my emails on it as well as the PC.Now when I go to synchronise, I get a message on the Blackberry Desktop Manager saying "The default service for your device's Calendar has changed since the last time you synchronised."Click OK to use your new default servicer and combine your data "."Click cancel to stop the synchronisation and revisit your default service options on your device."I have no idea why the default servce has changed (don't even know what it means) and what I should do. The calendar default service on the Bold shows my email address, so I guess it is something to do with my email setup.

This is extremely annoying to me, can that be changed? I'd prefer to be able to tell those apart when glancing at notifications.
edit: using nova launcher atm but can't seem to find a setting to change this in nova or touchwiz.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I copy pasted these fancy patterns that I saw in peoples names on bbm, but I copy pasted them from the internet, and after I did that, I noticed that icons had changed in the peoples names, and in place of certain icons there are these wierd oval black icons with writing under it, it also appears when I type in my password for my gmail account. So far I am aware that these bullet dots, - , have been changed into this icon, I've tried reseting the phone and switching it on and off but nothing works. Do you know what the problem might be, and how I would go about sorting it out?

My bbm picture will not change. When I go to change my picture it will allow me to choose one and save it, yet on my friend's phones my picture has not changed. I have no problem seeing other people pictures or updated pictures.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThere's the timezone issue they have to fix, all inbound txts are in a different timezone.Also, when Im at home with 3g and wifi activated, apps will have alot of trouble getting to the internet. I have to disable one to get networking to work. Ill try locale app but networking should work seamlessly.Now I see the 3G icon and the H icon whirring away and I have 'Mobile network' disabled.Anyone else having these network issues? Does the Legend notify you if youve had an OTA update?

i changed the sim card in my unlocked BB Torch from Vodafone UK to Bouygues and when it booted up the email application failed to work. After several reboots and changing the sim back, the email now works but i was hoping to be able to use several sim cards with this phone as i travel a lot and this seems difficult or impossible.

Tried to connect to wifi in an airport without success and deletetd the profile. I've never used the wifi before and don't plan on using it again. Now I can't get rid of the inactive grey wifi icon on my homescreen, and occasionally I find my phone connected to AT&T public wifi in random places. I've tried restoring default wifi settings to no avail.

My Torch (my 6th BB) somehow switched the number of icons per screen configuration from many icons to a single icon per screen. The Torch screen locking mechanism is too sensitive and my BB unlocked in my pocket (this is a major defect).Once unlocked my "pocket" must have launched a shortcut from the touch screen reconfiguring the number of icons per screen. I was told by a BB guru that I would probably have to reload the OS software to get the standard configuration back. how to launch the icon settings short cut? What is absurd and annoying is that there is no way to change the number of icons per screen from all the Options (tool icon) menu.

But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.
