I updated my phone to OS 7.1No doubt i am getting very good battery timing but i am facing a serious issue. My phone is getting restarted itself again and again.. almost 5 to 6 times a day.. I have wipped my phone and tried different things.. Even tried antivirus but still same.
i have a blackberry torch 9860 the phone restarted by itself and didnt go in stuck i tried to install new os from desktop manager it finished and on the restart process did the same any advice how can i fix it

I keep getting " java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" every time I restarted my phone, it doesn't affect how my phone acts, its just super annoying to not know what's causing it. I tried to download the default software from Blckberry site, but it woun't let me download it, keeps say *makes sure all your info is correct and accurate.
Since i updated my os to 7.1, my handheld is getting too slow and also the charge is draining like anything. Not even works for half day. My device is just one year old.
I received a pop up about a new operating system upgrade for my Torch. I did the upgrade as it told me to do, then connected to Blackberry Desktop Software as it said to do, but now am unsure what to do or if the operating upgrade has happened?
Why have I started seeing the little clock in the middle of the screen-- and seeing more and more frequently? It seems to be related to a general slowing down of data transmission. What's going on?
My last Torch died with a JVM. Just got it replaced today and I want to get my Downloaded apps back. After I have restored the device from BlackBerry Desktop, none of my downloaded apps are there. I have a brand new 9860 , running Bundle 7.1. I launch App World. It tells me to upgrade. When I follow the screen upgrades, I reach an error message : Notice: Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BB App World. I have a brand new phone so first question...can I upgrade App World over Wi-FI. or do I have to get a Data Plan from my Telco first ? I have been running my old phone fine with no Data plan but enjoying BBM and Cell use.
I would need an advice from you. I have bought BB Torch 9810 yesterday and when I tried to synchronize music, I got duplicated entries. To avoid that I have erased all music in order to upload/synchronize them just once. Apparently, I have also deleted all ring tones, alert tones (low battery, disconnected, incoming email etc), simply all. Now Im getting error messages all the time.Is there any way how to recover these sounds back? Or do I need to reinstall something
I've noticed that I can't save the pictures it gives me a message which say file system error.. what should I do, I couldn't take pictures on our last week vacation.
I've had my Torch for 2-3 weeks now. I do not remember ever seeing the twitter app pre installed. I certainly don't remember deleting it. When I go to twitter to download the blackberry app it gives me a notice."Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Twitter for BlackBerry Smartphones."
I don't use twitter that much, but would like it installed in case I do. It's really not my main concern, my main concern is that this is a bigger issue that I need to get resolved before I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work like it's supposed to and won't be able to run other apps. Any ideas? I'm still running the original OS.
yesterday afternoon and this morning today It restarted by itself. Thats twice now in the span of 3 days.. Should I be alarmed about this and ask for a replacement? So far i dont see any issues.. no lag or hiccups.. altho it gets warm when downdloading a lot of stuff ( google play music to be specific)
My Blackberry Bold 9900 has restarted itself 4 times now. (bought 3 days ago). The screen will go black and the red flight will light up for a few seconds and then it will start up again. it does randomly even when im just holding it!
I was chatting on yahoo messenger when my storm restarted by itself. After that, I haven't been able to connect to the BIS (can't use Browser, BBM, etc).I've followed intructions from other posts here, such as, of course, pulling off the battery for 5 minutes, and going to Advanced Settings > Host Routing Table > Register Now.When I try to access the E-Mail Setup, a pop up appears "Your device had a problem connecting to the server". So I can'tsend service books.Everything worked just fine until that reboot. I used to get a message "Your device has been registered to the wireless network" each time after a restart but not anymore.
So today I was listening to music and browins Internet on my phone, hab about 43% of battery and out of nowhere the phone made one long beeb and restarted itself.
