SInce 16th December for some reason? my BBM ceased working and I cannot receive my email on my Torch? Have my children 'turned something off by mistake'?
I just got my Torch back from being repaired from the track-pad not working.I first cleared anything that might of been on the phone and restored my back-up files to get all my addresses and applications into my phone.I know I have to reopen all the accounts applications I want to work. All my apps I have reinstalled work which I use and are all much needed tools, even up to my documents apps and PDF.I thought my email accounts would of come with the back-up which I reinstalled. I have 2 of each which I need for work, Windows Live, Yahoo and Gmail, but none of them are sending any mail I compose to send and I don't know why, or I may have forgotten not having my phone for so long. or am doing something wrong.
All of a sudden I stopped receiving emails ona specific account on my BB, however, I can send emails from the same account and are received and are received on my PC.I have send testing messages from all my other accounts and all are functioning weel, however, this specific account, does not received email on my BB, and this happened all of a sudden.
My BB is on a corporate server and we receive e-mails from around the world at all hours of the night. Does anyone know how to turn off the audible notification of incoming mail, while retaining the settings for incoming calls and texts? I have the Torch 9850.
Since BB service was restored today I was hoping to get my email back but I cannot receive any incoming email. Sending email works fine but I cannot receive. I have rebooted my BB several times but it is not working.I also tried adding another email account to see if that one worked. The new account shows up in the email setup list but it doesn't appear on my homescreen for some reason. I then tried to delete one of the accounts a had setup before and I have a similar problem. The account no longer appears in the email setup menu, but it still shows on the homescreen.I have a BB Torch 9800 and I am on the Telus network in Canada
Been trying to set up another email account to recieve incoming mail, although cant remember how I done it. I currently have it set up for Hotmail but want to change it to my Gmail account instead.
I recently purchased BB Torch 9860 with OS 7 and configured by personal and work email on BIS. I am receiving emails only in text format. In some emails with images that have hyperlink, I just see a link and images not displayed. All the images comes as an attachment in the email. My friend having another BB Torch is able to view emails as HTML. But he is with BES.
Is there any solution for my issue? I am not receiving any options in the email preference to enable HTML format for emails.
I recently created a back up of my phone. I followed the wrong advice and wiped the phone. So I went back and restored my back up. Everything backed up, however, the phone went back to default everything, selecting any tab or icon on the set up page will lock the phone when you try to back out or close, and emails cannot be configured - the emails reloaded but I cannot send, receive, or change any email settings - I get error message"unable to open email setup application. contact your wireless service provider." The MAIN issue now is my wireless service provider is not aware of this problem and they keep trying to send me updates via email not accepting that I cannot get my emails from my phone anymore. and are baffled that removing the battery and restarting isn't working?
I have multiple email accounts configured. They are all working where I can send and receive email. However, one of the accounts takes hours to receive email. When it does receive, I get everything from the past number of hours. Is this a problem with my phone or something else?

I am having email problems. I have several email accounts. I receive email on all of them, but can't send on all of them. Not even a reply. The email accounts that work are gmail and [URL]The accounts that don't send are: 1 account hosted by GoDaddy, and a few accounts on my 2 domains [URL] and [URL] all of these accounts work fine on my laptop via outlook 2007. The place that houses my 2 domains said they don't know why I am having this problem.
Im sure its a simple issue that someone can sort for me ....I am able to receive email through my nokia n97 perfectly however I am unable to send email.

Update last week and then one email address won't work. When I contacted server provider, they gave me server to use, port, etc. but I cannot change those on my Blackberry. (Or can't find out where to do it). When I delete and add the email address, it doesn't give me the option to put in the popmail address, or designate the proper server and port. Tried to do it on the computer but phone won't allow me to do it.
Since upgrading my BB software, and upgraded BBM software, I can no longer receive messages from senders. I understand they are receiving my outgoing text, but i do not receive any incoming text from them. I have pulled the battery several times, in an effort to 'kick start' the program, but with no luck. I was trying to uninstall and reinstall BBM, but i cant find any way to uninstall it.
I have a Torch 9800 & took it with me on a long trip out-of-country only to use as a camera. For this purpose, I stopped receipt of emails by turning off - via Manage Connections - both the Mobile Network & the WiFi. Hence, I was running silent. Having returned home, I want to initiate receipt of emails again BUT do NOT want the several hundred emails accumulated during my travels to be pushed to my handheld (I remained in touch with emails on trip by using my laptop). Question: how can I now turn on my Mobile Network & WiFi connections and not have pushed to my BB all the emails accumulated over the past 2 months (they still remain on my email server)?
I have been using blackberry since march 2011, there never be a problem receiving BBM before. I can send the BBM message but I could not receive any BBM message from my contact after I resubscribe my Blackberry Internet Service yesterday. I tried to sign in to windows live messenger and it works fine. My email is also working as usual.I have tried to take out my battery and put it back on several times. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall back my BBM application.
I ve been using BB Torch for about 6 mths now. Got no trouble for the first couple of months, but this past 1-2 months, my family couldn't send any pictures through blackberry messenger anymore. We live quite in different part of countries, and always contact each other by sending photos through BBM. They tried to send from different kinds of Blackberry phone (torch, curve, bold, etc), but it just not working. It said that when they try to send the pictures, my Blackberry replied " ...was unable to save thw file" (either its thw or the). So, now every time we want to send a photo, we will put it in profile pict. It's getting frustrating now!! Anyway, I'm not very good at technology, so I don't know what I should do.
