i've been looking, but i can't find a way to change the virtual vertical qwerty keyboard to the virtual 12-key alphanumeric keyboard, i can only change it to qwerty, qwertz or azerty, is there any way to have the alphanumeric keyboard as a default for all aplications?

Just got my torch last night! yayyy! I did read in one of the threads there is a way to bring the virtual keyboard down by swiping up and down (I think). But when I do that, I always open the manage connections option. Can someone explain how to get it to show wo opening the physical keyboard?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo here's the issue. I bought a KS360 phone (unlocked) off of ebay and it's great...except one small issue. The keyboard is marked as a QWERTY keyboard but when I go to type, the 'a' and 'q' and 'w' and 'z' are switched around, making the phone a AZERTY phone. Is there any way to fix this problem? The phone's programming says it's Belgium, which is why the phone has been programmed for an AZERTY layout (...I'm guessing). Is there any way to make the phone work as the QWERTY keyboard intended? I'm new at this, so if messing around with flashing/inner workings of the phone is involved in the solution, can someone walk me through it so I don't ruin the phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've noticed a feature on my HTC Desire Z whereby the keyboard keys will light up if the phone deems itself to be in poor lighting conditions. Personally I'd prefer the keyboard to light up anyway, whenever I open it since it's much easier to read when it's lit up. Is there anywhere where I can change this setting so that the keys light up as soon as I slide out the keyboard, regardless of the ambient lighting conditions?
