While travelling overseas I tried to used a prepaid SIM. This logged out my BlackberryID, Unable to remember password, or 'Secret Question' answer, I have had to Delete and recreate Blackberry ID, When trying to login with the correct details it now prompts for "Enter the username associated with this smartphone", When I open up Options, Device, Blackberry ID, it shows the correct details, but then prompts for the BlackberryID and gives the same message. What next? Change to iPhone?
My Torch yesterday evening just cut off from a call, switched itself off, come back on again with a white screen saying ''App Error 606 - Reset''. Everytime I reset it or take the battery out it reloads and the same message appears.
I have tried the following Program Files>Common Files>Research in Motion>App Loader>Loader but then when I do these steps (as advised from another forum) I get the message saying it has failed to locate any files but sometimes it goes to the next screen with my list of Application Names with a tick next to them all then I click finish and straight away without any loading bars or anything like that it says ''Successfully updated your software''. I then unplug the USB, reload the Torch and same error message comes up again!!!
I have also tried downloading the Blackberry Swiss Army Knife from from bbsak.org but I get a message from that saying ''Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) [URL].. on line 6'' even though my computer has space.
I just dont know what to do now. Im looking for a step by step guide to fix this problem (bare in mind I am quite new to computers so please use as basic language/steps as possible in helping me please - no fancy words I'll just get totally lost).
Got the Torch, paid for the BIS with my carrier... and now I can't register at the BIS site (mts.blackberry.com). My carrier says that apparently someone has already used my IMEI and PIN on that site, and they can't help me with that. They suggested I write to Blackberry support and request them to change my device PIN.
My experience (using Torch) over the past 4 months was that there has been a of battery pulling to reset the phone. I don't think its a very good idea, my phone will last much too long that way, the back cover will give way any time sooner than I would expect (2-3 years on my other phones). Is there another way for this reset thing.. like software trigger, etc. I don't remember having to do this way in my other phones befor
JVM Error 545 that will not allow me to reset the device? I have removed the battery and tried to reset several times and it comes back to the screen with the error message and reset button.
I am ready to return the phone and go back to BB 9700. The Torch is great, but it's lagging too much and I have to pull the battery everytime I need to use GPS, otherwise, I won't get any GPS signal.
It's just my personal reference, I like the 9700 better.
My phone screen has just gone whit with the message showing "App Error 603"...the reset button below only reboots the handset and takes it to the same place again. Also, now when I connect my phone to the computer the DM only shows connecting and refuses to detect the phone.
I had to reset my phone and now I can't sign into my gmail. It has my email but I've changed my password and reset my email settings but nothing has worked. It has my email already locked in so I can't even change the email address. I don't know what do and I can't get any of my contacts without getting into my gmail!
I have a Torch 9810. It turned off by itself and now when I try to reboot it. I get a white screen that says App Error 200 with a little black box that says Reset in it. When I try to touch the word reset - nothing happens. If I press my pad the phone reboots and the same message appears. I am afraid that I will lose all my pictures and info that I have saved on the phone.
I have requested three separate times to reset my Blackberry ID password. Each time is says that an email with instructions to reset my password has been sent, but the emails are not coming through to my email account (not inbox, junk, spam...anything). My BB ID for my Torch has an email address that is missing a digit.When I reached the maximum login attempts, I tried resetting the password but the BB ID for this device is missing a '1', thus when it sends the reset email, it's sending it to an email that isn't mine. I reset my password for the BB ID I thought was for this device, which includes the '1', but when I try using that BB ID on this phone, it says something like "use the BB ID associated with this device".
I have had my blackberry torch 9800 since march 2011, so that's 7 months.
while downloading bbm music earlier, just as it was finishing downloading, my phone switched itself off, and went to the black blackberry screen with the white loading bar at the bottom. it has been in a loop on this screen for about half an hour now, and i am very worried! the white loading bar gets to about 3 quarters of the way done and shuts down and starts the process all over again. i've tried taking the battery out, putting my phone on charge and nothing will help it!

I just replaced my Blackberry Torch 9800 with an identical device. There is a User name and Password needed to access e-mail settings.
My device prev iously remembered the User Name and Password (e.g., when I had to synchronize my e-mail whenever the password for the e-mail account changed) but now that the device has been replaced, it is now asking for this information which I have misplaced. Is there an easy way to re-set this password?
I do not remember the User name either (it says the password can be sent to the device if the correct User name is provided). Unfortunately right now I cannot access any e-mail on the device.

i have purchased a BB Torch 9860 just about 9 days back and it suddenly showed me an error 602 and ever after reset and removing battery, the device continues to show error.
