I just got new tourch 9860 and to my big surprise I have a lot of languages to chose for keyboad BUT NO RUSSIAN. I need it for work, so , please explain me how can I install it to my device.

Bought few days back Asha 311 and updated to SW V 5.92. After that Russian and other input languages are missing in text editors / writing languages. Actually, there are blank spaces where languages were listed before update, with check marks, but without text (language name) visible. Although they can be checked (saying: "You have chosen multiple languages. Now using: english"), settings reset after each try.

When I'm entering Names from menu, english ones are ok, but russian contacts displays as only first 5 symbols and then "...". When I enter contact - it displays everything normal.

The capital letter I is not a problem. I downloaded recently the app " Compass Pro" . Could this be a reason?

View 1 Replies View Relatedyesterday my bbtorch screen went blank and the error 606 message appeared, I solved (I THOUGHT I did) that problem by running a firmware update, the message disappeared but now that my phone is working I see that the keyboard nor any other physical key is working. When I slide it open the screen lights up and if it is on its side the image rotates so I think the device still recognizes the keyboard but I don't understand why it won't work, I'm currently running version 7.1.0.1149.

I found out after several trials (don't ask me how many) that if I slided open and closed 2 times and then I press twice the "alt" button the keyboard starts working. Also the side button that I had for the camera is not working. Digital keyboard works fine. When the keyboard does not work, the outside keys (call, back, BB, touch pad, hang up) do not work either..

The screen went black, or The screen got mirrored. but everything still worked when The keyboard was not sliced open. Yesterday, my bb just went black when i opened The keyboard and this time, the screen stayed black. I think there is something wrong with the software on the chip that controles the visual for the screen. Because even when i had mirrored view, it still responded on the touchscreen, but the things you saw just didnt match with What you touched. What can I do? I bought my bb online, so i cant go back to the store.
