HTC One M8 :: Why Phone Keeps Rebooting Every 5 Minutes
Nov 13, 2014I purchased an HTC One M8 (HK edition) at the end of Sept so I've had less than two months. This past weekend it started rebooting itself approximately every 5 minutes. It only does this when it is using battery power, if it is plugged in and charging it is fine. Sprint did a factory reset in the store and HTC walked me through one via live chat and I'm still having the problem. The fact that it doesn't do it when it is plugged in makes me wonder if it is a battery problem.

May 27, 2012My BACKFLIP will reboot itself every few minutes. I don't have to be using it or doing anything with it and it will just reboot itself. It will reboot during a call, texting, charging or any other time it decides to do it. I have done several factory resets and it still does it. It has worked fine for almost 2 years and about a month ago it just started rebooting. There's nothing I've tried that will resolve this problem. The way it looks on the BACKFLIP page its a major problem with a lot of the BACKFLIP phones. This is the second BACKFLIP my family has had the same problem with. My brother just got tired of messing with his and got a new phone. If I could afford the upgrade charges of a new phone I'd do the same thing!

Oct 13, 2015I have had my Z5 for a few weeks, and it has been great. In the last day or so it has started to reboot every few minutes. I've spent today trying to debug it with logcat (through adb).
It looks like as soon as the phone tries to go into a lower power state, it crashes and reboots. I've gone through a number of logs, and I thought it was an issue linked to bluetooth, but disabling bluetooth or going into airplane mode didn't work.
The phone is fine when it is being used, or when it is charging it is only when it is idle for about a minute (or less) and all background activities have finished (such as a sync for an app) does it reboot.
For example, listening ot music or a podcast and the phone is fine for hours. But if I stop it, even if it remains connected to the bluetooth device, it crashes.

Dec 7, 2011My 4 months old BB Torch 9810 with OS7 hangs after a phone call. A small black box appears in the center of the screen with a hand going around like a clock. It takes 2-3 minutes before the black box disappears, and the smartphone is useable again. This also happens when I want to use the Torch has gone to "sleep" mode. I hardly have some apps which are links to news websites - nothing heavy. whether this is a OS issue/glitch?

If I log into my outlook account on a computer, I can see the email has been delivered to me.I called BB support, and they said that there is no way I can do an instant feed to my phone from an outlook account. Did something change recently on Hotmail's server?I called AT&T today and tried a few things and it looks like my Hotmail messages are coming in faster but still taking at least 5 minutes.My Exchange messages come in a lot faster as expected.Anyone else have this problem? I did delete all my accounts at least twice today. At one point only one email icon would appear (not including the messages icon) but after deleting the one that didn't appear, it fixed it.Hotmail still slow though.

Jul 27, 2012I use Torch 9810 to record conversation (client meeting) , once I press "record button" it works fine but recording automatically stop every 5 minutes, e.g. if meeting last 1 hour I will have to press "record" button 12 times (every 5 minutes).

1) removed battery wait 30 sec and put back in. NO LUCK
