View 3 RepliesI had my BlckBerry Torch 9800 with; OS 6.0 with Bundle 1907 plugged in all night charging and when I got up this morning the phone was rebooting. While after awhile of this I watch the phone go 3/4 of the way to start up then it reboots. Over and Over.Fixes I have tried:
1) removed battery wait 30 sec and put back in. NO LUCK
2) removed battery wait 6 min and put back in. NO LUCK
Alright so my blackberry curve has been rebooting for quite some time now but it always manages to come back to normal at one point, but today, all day today, its been rebooting and I have no idea why. Right now it died and I put it in the charger and it's still rebooting. It turns on, the red LED light comes off the clock timer thingy pops up and it restarts again.. it doesn't even get to the starting up bar..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was using my phone just fine this morning. Then all of a sudden I went to use it and it went black and then starting rebooting over and over. It has turned on fully 3 times now but once everything is loaded on my screen it shuts back down and starts over. It has been doing this for over an hour. I have taken the battery out and left it out for a little bit and it still isn't working.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am now on the 3rd Storm in as many weeks. Each one suffered the same problem. Random reboots/restarts.Phone 1 was the worst - I purchased it as a 2month old used unit. I wiped it clean at purchase and setup for my use. I did not enable Blackberry services with Vodacom for 2weeks. In that time it behaved with no problems. A day after enabling BB Services with service provider the random restarts would happen. It was primarily during BB Messaging, but was not limited to that. It would restart during calls. Other times i would pick it up off desk and see that it restarted. (pin was requested). There were times that it would restart 3 to 4 times in succession before eventually "stabalising"i visited Vodacom and was told that all Storm 2's before Mar 2010 were recalled" I was given a replacement unit.Phone 2 - Service Provider configured phone for me and restored only contacts. emails and messages. Next day restarts began. Display goes white and error message displays for a few seconds. Then phone restarts. It would reboot totally randomly. Taken from pocket. whilst driving, during a call, laying on desk. Vodacom gave another unit after testing it for a few hours.Phone 3 - Only contacts restored. Original OS and settings used. Random restarts 3 times in one day as with phone 2. It however seemed to be "worse" at certain location "my office".A technincian suggest setting to 2G only. This worked okay for 2 days and then i took from pocket and it had restarted.Event log just said powered off and powered on. No error message. This is a day later and no more reboots. But phone still on 2G.I see that restarts/reboots are common place with the Storm2 and wonder if it is a design fault.i am gonna re-enable 3G and watch again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 8350i that has the current updates but will still not stop rebooting constantly. This started two weeks ago, so I updated the phone. It was fine for a day and now it is non-stop. It is to the point where I can't get in one full business conversation. Today alone (5/4/12), it has reset 40 times; Often repeats 3-4 times in a row
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Curve 8530 keeps trying to reboot. I have found a solution to the problem in the Blackberry Knowledge Base but in order to use it they want me to provide IMEI number which is obtained from the options page of the device. This is impossible because it keeps rebooting and you can't get into the options page.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Droid X2 keeps rebooting and crashing over and over. When I get past the lock screen it says. com.motorola.service.main has stopped responding or something similar to that, then it cycles through every other app saying they all crashed and the phone then reboots. I did not install anything prior to this and it was completely random...I am currently unable to use my phone right now since it will not stop rebooting. I have pulled out the battery and SD card to no avail.
View 6 Replies View Relatedi turned off my backflip for recharging earlier today. when i turn the device on now, it just keeps rebooting. i will see the Motorola Blur logo, then the ATT 3G animation, screen goes black, then comes Motorola blur logo again, follows by the ATT 3G animation. it seems like the phone is stuck in a "rebooting loop".I tried to pull the battery out and put it back it, it does not help.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor all you EE customers out there here is what I did and how I got it working on 2G and 3G but not 4G.
1. Get a phone that can take your 3G SIM. I found my Nokia Lumia 800 for carphone warehouse worked.
2. Put your SIM in and let it register 2G.
3. On your 920 with no SIM in, go to Settings -> mobile network and TURN DATA OFF
4. Get your now registered SIM from your old/other phone and put it in your 920 and boot it up.
5. The phone should now boot and not crash.
6. Go to Setings -> Mobile Network and change "Highest Connection Speed" to 3G and then turn the "data connection" back on.
7. Life should be pretty good now (unless you live in a 4G area).
Ever since upgrading to the latest software 7.1.0 Bundle 1149, my Bold 9900 is consonantly rebooting. Usually after a phone call, it decides to reboot. So annoying. Its also extremely slow and the battery life is awful. Its only about 6 months old and constant problems.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy IPhone 3gs has started to cut out mid call and then reboot I notice through the internet this is a common occurance how can I stop it doing it. It is very infuriating as it doesn't do it all the time its intermittent, when it does cut out its normally around three minutes into a conversation.
Info:
iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.1
I have a 6 day old Curve 9350. Whenever I do any heavy internet. i.e. streaming video, downloading music, loading w web pages (tabs) at once, etc. it just reboots. It acts like it overheats, but it never gets to the point where it gets hot. I'm trying to get it swapped out with Sprint. Or is this warranty thing?
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my phone turns on, and then the screen showing "Blackberry" with the loading bar appears, but it gets about 3 quarters of the way then flashes off then starts to repeat the same process. I am lost on what to do, even after reading several solutions that haven't worked! Also when I plug it into my computer and open Blackberry desktop software, it recognises the phone but won't connect to it!

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone is on this weird state now that it freezes and nothing happens, not even the little watch comes out and so I have to reboot it. But when I do, I have to use it non stop doing whatever for about 3 hours or so, not being able to leave it alone because if I do, even for a minute it will freeze all over again and the process will start over. But also, sometimes when I reboot it, it doesn't being to reboot. It just stays with the screen shut off and eventually the little red light would turn on and off but nothing else will happen. I left it in that state for about 10 hours and nothing.Right now it has been frozen for almost an hour, Ive had to reboot it about 25times today and I´m beginning to give up and getting scared for my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNoticed that anything using the wireless data was going really slow and then it just stopped any transmission. Took it off the wifi to see if there was any difference, same thing... and then a popup appeared that said DNS and a button ok... the screen locked up so I couldn't click anywhere on the screen, so I did a battery pull.
Now after the battery pull it gets to the blackberry loading screen. It loads to approx. 20%, then theres a white screen with text in a very small font and a button reset in the middle. This appears in less then a second, and the screen is locked so i can't press reset. It now does this a continuous cycle.
I have been so sad all day.My blackberry Torch has been going on and off all by itself. In the middle of a phone or when kept idle it just starts to reboot all by itself. i dunno if its coz of new applications i downloaded.I tried to delete them but when i press delete it restarts and they are still there.

View 8 Replies View Relatedmy BlackBerry Torch 9800 is in a rebooting loop. I was downloading an update to an app from the BB App World, and then it started to install (also had a notification that it was installing), then two seconds later, the screen went black. Later, the LED flashed red and started to boot. Then, it kept on doing this in a loop.

Then it began the booting and rebooting and has not stopped till now. My BB pin is (personal info removed) perhaps there is something remotely that can be done.
