I have a problem with the email settings on the BB torch 9800, this problem appeared when I would integrate an email account with the following error "HTTP Status 500 -"description: The server encountered an internal error () That prevented it from fullfilling this request.

Now I'm having a hard time reintegrating all my e-mail messages back into my device.I tried doing the reintegration process via web (supported by my network carrier) but only e-mail messages in the past week were synched into my device.I did try retrieving my messages through the e-mail setup. But every time I chose the E-mail Accounts icon, nothing seemed to respond. However, all other icons in the Setup section did work, except for the E-mail Accounts icon.I just needed to reintegrate my e-mail messages, including the oldest ones, into my device, but how do I resolve that? I know you guys would understand that with all e-mail messages synched into your device, you don't need to open a laptop and search an important message that was received

I have both FB and Twitter running on my phone but it is not integrated into social feed and it is not available as a drop-down item either... I did device switch and both FB and Twitter disappeared so I had to download FB and Twitter apps manually onto the 9800.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI was using my torch for months now and was able to set up 3 web-based email accounts initially. I encountered no problem even syncing my messages with my Playbook. This morning, i was planning to add another email account so i went to the EMAIL SETUP menu and clicked INTERNET MAIL ACCOUNT. There was a prompt asking me that there is an upgrade to the the Email Setup Application so i upgraded. After the reboot my phone when WHITE SCREEN and there was a prompt telling me APP ERROR 601 then my phone automatically reboots then the same error occurred. I was able to restore my phone and now i want to set up my email accounts and the same "upgrade" option is there. After all the hassle of restoring my phone, Im a bit hesitant to upgrade my Email Setup Application. Hence, i cannot configure my email accounts and I cannot see my messages when i Bridge my phone with my Playbook.

I'd really appreciate step by step instructions on how to do this. Instructions your grandmother would understand because it's driving me up the wall. I want to keep my email address for my phone too. My email address isn't a[URL] or [URL], it's a more custom domain, [URL].. I don't know if this is why it isn't working?

I have the SD card in my Xoom and mounted. No problems there ( the card is mounted through Settings > Storage > Mount ). How do I use it to store music, pics and video? Do I need to create a MUSIC directory on the card?I can't seem to find any docs on this, so suggestions on how to integrate the use of the card within my daily tablet life would be helpful.

Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.
I just bought a China Unicom branded 1020 RM-876. It doesn't have Facebook or Twitter in Accounts list! I cannot add and integrate FB or Twitter to my contacts. I can install and use the clients but no integration.
How to add these to accounts list? I see a bunch of other Chinese services mentioned along with Hotmail, Outlook, Google and LinkedIn.
After adding a new contact, it does not integrate into the contacts list. It just sits at the top of the list.

In attempting to do so, I received a message saying "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found." I also received this message when trying to email a photo to my blackberry. This never use to happen in past blackberries I have owned.

I had a curve 8310 on o2 and moved to a bold 9700 still on o2.When i moved i used the desktop manager and did the device switch over, all went well including bbm etc.However whenever i tried to send an email i recieved the error message 'transaction error failure at service' - I tried to log into my bis account online to update my pin but i couldnt log on! i havent changed the password or username since my old blackberry so i cant log on to change it online. on my blackberry when i try to log on to email settings it says the username field is blank!
i called o2 they put me through to geek squad and wanted to charge me to help!!! I am trying to change my email settings as i changed my email account. When i go to "Setup", "Email Accounts", then click on "Internet Mail Account", it simply circulates back to "Email Accounts". My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have got myself a blackberry and have been told by t-mobile UK that I am on a BIS account plan. I have set up my gmail email and emails come through nearly instantly. With my work emails I am not getting them instantly. Work does have a BES server and can give me a password to access their server but T-Mobile are using my webmail URL to connect me to the emails.
1) is this correct
2) Can we get rid of the time lag/delay in receiving emails from my work email address so it is more instant?

1. images are not automatically appearing (need to click get images)
2. the HTML emails are appearing too wide. I have to scroll to the right to see the other half of the email.
After a short time on an Android device (which I quickly got rid of) I am now back on a BlackBerry. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
I have a new BES email so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How do I transfer my browser bookmarks from my old BES email? I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I have tried to restore just the browser bookmarks using the device restore select device data and settings, but the bookmarks don't come back.

Error message says cannot login at this time and on the login screen it says I D needs to be verified. I've tried new passwords, reinstalling app world, hard reset but no good. I can log in on the pc and attach my phone and it shows it aand all of the apps I have as uninstalled, even though they are still working and installed on the phone.

I am connected to my SP, I have a data plan,I am up to date on payment yet, I do not have the option to connect to a personal email only an enterprise account.Connecting to an SP should not be the only option as through the wireless I should be able to get emails as well so I do not accept a previous reply that it is down to the SP provider.
