I have a torch and recently I changed my password of my gmail account, therefore I am asked to update the password via email set up application. I have done this before and everything works well.
This time, it prompts an update and will not proceed without updating. It requests to install version 6.11.0324.1701 to replace my 6.0.0 version and in the mean time, it prompts a message: if "com.rim.bis.client" contains a different version of module "net_rim_bis_client", which is also used by "Email Setup Application". If you proceed, "Email setup up application" may cease to function property. Proceed? I proceeded once and it basically gave me the white screen "Application Error" page when I reboot so I have to reload my entire phone.
My dilemma is, there is no way to bypass this process however my email is not working.
I wiped my bb torch (unintentionally) and ended up deleting the email setup application. How do I download it onto my device so I can reactivate my email?
is there any email application that supports HTML contents as i am not able to view tables, graphs & reports in default email application of torch 9860.
I'm here to report a huge bug. With the Email setup application update 6.11.0324.1701. I've tried to install it and my BB won't boot. At first I got a 606 error then I had the progress bar stuck full. I had to reinstall the OS and restore. If I refuse the update from the software I won't get access to the setup page. This update is here [URL] I've tried with 6.0.0.526 6.0.0.534 and 6.0.0.246 and the same issue with everyone. I've tried to load this one [URL] then the BB boot but when I try to go to the BIS setup nothing happens. So I guess this is a language problem or a corrupt update. Non english users DO NOT UPDATE!!
I needed to setup a secondary email addy with RogersWireless yesterday and while I was there I got the bright idea to change my password for my primary account.This totally screwed my BB (no more email being received) sent me an email saying I needed to verify my password.tried to go into Setup to access my email settings..my BB freezes and I have to shut it down and re-start.Next bright idea...go to Messages Options then try to access email settings that way...message comes up and says "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?
I have a tourch 9800 when I install a new application and when I want open it my phone say ( too many application loaded ). And I don't know why. Before I had a lot of application but now I just have 6. I have a lot of memori on my Bberry. I already back up or reset. I just can install 6 application.
I have an application which works only through WIFI and not through 3G network. Its a security camera app which when I install on it on an iphone it works over 3G no problem but not on the blackberry. Is there something I should be looking at ? Also yes I do have a full data plan with unlimited access.
I have change from a 9800 to a 9810, when I tried to set my language to English UK, I could not find it. The only language stored on my 9810 is English US. In my 9800 there are about 20 languages.I have tried to find out about down loading the software for this but help says its in the phone?

I have problem with my torch always reboot and can not enter to home screen after installed some application, i had read this problem caused by new version of bbm which connect to application and give solution to delete cod with connect to bbm such as.Common.cod, plugin.cod... I had tried it by is not work. I try to do factory reset.It works but will delete all my data excluding application. For sometimes it works but sometimes can not works and in the end i will wipe my torch and install new OS into my torch,<br><br> if there are best solutions.

This morning I tried to upgrade the Facebook application. It crashed my Blackberry Torch. The only way I could sort it was to unistall the Facebook application. I have tried to reinstall the Facebook application, but to no avail. It says it has reinstalled, but I cannot locate it.

My email application is very slow when selecting/unselecting/opening emails... I believe the reason is because i have over 4000 emails in the phone system but I cannot find a way to limit the # of emails stored, OR the # of days back to keep emails. Any suggestions? Do you know how to limit the # of emails? or store back to a maximum # of days... 7, 10 or 14 days?
when i plug my blackberry torch on the computer, the DM recognize it but when i go in the application section it starts loading (verifying all the stuff)but then the application loader appears to crash an i get message saying "Handheld Application Loader Wizard has stopped working" and i really dont know what to do.

I have bought a new Torch 9810 and since, then facing various issues. The latest one being that compass icon is missing under Application or Home screen. On top of it, I checked that Compass is neither present in the installed Applications list. The last thing I remember was that I had reset the phone once.
I downloaded an application from blackberry app world today on 29/01/2012 and after the installation the phone rebooted on its own and keeps rebooting and won't let the phone start up and this is causing alot of problems for me as i need to use my phone.I trust the appworld and all the apps as its licensed and registered and thats why i trust all apps, Please can Rim or Blackberry help me with my problem PleaseIf this problem isnt resolved i will resort to buy a new phone maybe an android or iPhone (eventhough Blackberry is my favorite)
How do i reset the fb password in bb application??I logged out of my profile so that i cud assist someone with their profile on my phone( i had logged in via google, so i logged out there).When wanted to log back in i realised that i had forgotten password so i had it reset, and i confirmed the whole process with the email notification via my email etc..When i now went to fb via bb application it requested emaill ad which i typed in. And it asked password which i entered( the new password) and it was rejected.I tried entering all passwords that i cud think of but nothing..Now i just want to have password reset but i do not know how to do that in the bb application side..Please assist me as im failing to chat or get notification.
I have too many icons ( and I guess apps too) running in the screen when you want to switch apps. I have tried going in the app and then clicking "close" in the menu, the end call key and nothing seems to work. Some applications have the word "exit" on their menus and that seems to do the trick for some and but not all.
I am using BB 9800, Recently I am facing problem to use Blackberry Application world. I already tried almost everything, delete then re-install, re-boot - open battery+memory card -and re-assemble back. those are not work.
