BB Bold :: Gmail Calendar Invitations Not Appearing?
Jan 17, 2012I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 and from maybe one month ago I am not receiving gmail calender invites on the blackberry. So I end up going online into my gmail account and responding to the invites. The invitations or accepted notices or updates to invitations - nothing appears.

Dec 3, 2014Until recently, if I made a calendar entry (in any of the calendars shared with my wife) my wife would receive an alert on her iPhone and the Calendar app would show an invitation in the Inbox. The same thing would happen in reverse. Just recently, neither of us get alerts or invitations, although the new or modified calendar entry is synched across both iPhones. Neither of us aware of having changed any settings since this behaviour started. How can the notifications and invitations be restored?

BB Torch 9800 Smartphone :: Torch Not Syncing With Outlook Calendar
Aug 25, 2010I have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it. None of these measures have changed the problem.Any suggestions?

1)my calendar is not syncing (birthday's calendar is syncing but not the main calendar even I set him to be synced via google sync..)
2)i entered setup once installed the app but i am not able to get there again - the it makes simply nothing when I am trying to get to the setup in google sync app

Aug 25, 2010I got a new torch and I'm totally loving it but I wonder why I dont see my birthday appointments in the calendar? I've synced only the adress book from my old bold 9000 birthdays are still listed in the contacts but they do not appear in my calendar. If I add a new birthday to a contact it does appear. Can somebody help me?

Aug 9, 2011my bb was working ok and was syncing ok with my Outlook calender. The bb calender was synced to one of my five email accounts (mail@tw). I started to get issues with it so I followed advice and deleted the other calender cical things except for facebook. Since then the bb has added a default calender to mirror the mail@tw calender....so I have duplicate entries for everything and I don't know what to do.....

May 4, 2012All reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

Aug 21, 2010Numerous problems with the way the calendar app saves old appointments. I've got a BB Torch 9800 running version 6.0 bundle 695 interfaced with a Mac. When I try to set the options for the calendar to keep appointments forever, it keeps reverting back to saving them for 60 days deleting the older appointments. It is not saving my options correctly. I've tried a battery reset, but no change. Does anyone have some insight into this?

Apr 29, 2010I purchased the Torch last week. I use it for work. Due to firewall issues I had to have my IT department download the Desktop Software for me so that I could sync everything. I am on the personal plan not the Enterprise, although I still can receive emails for work.
When I did the Configure Settings to set up the syncing it let me do the Calendar and then the Address book. Yet when I got ready to run the sync the Calendar says "not installed". I was able to sync the contacts with my Outlook, but for some reason can't get the Calendar to work. I really need to have my calendar sync'd.I'm on AT&T and have had the Bold 9000 previously. I never had any problems with the Desktop Software until now.

Oct 29, 2012I can't stop sync deleting past calendar entries. Using torch 9800 and OS6 2949 with outlook 2007. I tried configuring for hours but syncing still comes up trying to delete entries more than few months old, which I want to keep. I tried 'upcoming entries only' (then it wants to delete over 1000 entries!!) and can't get the 'advanced' filters option to make any difference.

Aug 11, 2010I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.

Mar 12, 2012I am seeing a problem when accepting Meeting Invitations on my iPhone or vice versa on my iPad.I get a meeting invitation on both devices.If I accept them on my iPhone they still show on my iPad as I have not accepted them yet.This can go in the other direction too.if I accepted them on my iPad first and they still show as not accepted on my iPhone.But, the weird thing is on the device I just accepted them on and in my Outlook calendar on my desktop they show up correctly (just not on the second device).
The other funny and weird part is if I go to accept them after the first time on say my iPhone (so, now I go to accept them on the iPad because they still show as not accepted on this device) and now I accept them on the iPad it will accept them.now the meeting invitations are sent back to my iPhone as not accepted. I can keep going back and forth with this. If I go back to my iPhone to accept them, then they show back up on my iPad (with red circle notification of x number over calendar app) as not accepted or like they are new invitations. So, I can can going back and forth with this and one device will always show that I have meeting invitations waiting to be accepted when I have already accepted them on one device.p.s. I have the latest iOS software on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. This happened with 4.x iOS software too.
