I just got the storm 2 and there are two things that annoy me, one is the enter button sends my text messages and on my curve that button made a new paragraph. My question is how do you drop down a line (make a new paragraph) when texting on the storm 2?I understand the OS 5.0.32 doesn't have the feature to turn off the enter button from sending, hope verizon releases an os update soon.

View 9 Replies View RelatedDidn't know where else to put this, since Idk if it's a 9550 only thing or all BB's, but when I receive a text message I like to know when I received it, or how long ago. But whenever I tap the received message it always says received one minute ago, unless it was on an earlier date. But, if I get a text at 8am and check it at noon, then tap on it, it says received one minute ago. Any way to fix this?
View 13 Replies View RelatedA little background story, I was in school in the locker room and its on the bottom floor in the middle of the school. I took my phone out and had no service. I looked at a text message I got earlier in the day but hadn't looked at until then and I noticed to the right of the 160 character count there was 1 of 6. Now I immediately tried sending a 2 page text to a friend just trying to test this and sure enough it sent both parts and she received both too. I have my original Storm 2 that I got from Verizon, it still has the stock OS on it, .320.Now after 2 days I found out a little more on why this happened. I had no service like I said, the bars were red and it said SOS. So I literally had no service. I checked the connections manager and it didn't show I was connected to Verizon Wireless. I then opened a text message and sure enough it was there, 1 of 6. It only shows up when you have no service at all. I then went back into service after typing two pages and it worked. I did try just turning the connection to the network off but that didn't work, it didn't show the multi-page message, 1 of 6. It only works if you find a dead zone/no service area. It showed up for all the contacts I had SMS messages for, no matter what carrier they had.
After my first post I decided to take a picture. Now I wasn't able to get/find a app before I went to school so I took my camera and took the pictures. They are not very clear at all but you can see what I'm talking about. This is the clearest picture I could seem to get. Its fuzzy but if you look at the top you will see the name of the contact and then just under it where it says 160 / 1 of 6.Multi-Page Text: 160 / 1 of 6 .Let me know what you think? I would really like to see this get integrated.
I read when the Storm2 was launched that it didn't work with 3G on ATT have you found how to make it run on 3G for ATT?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI received a replacement phone yesterday and the screen was amazing. I type faster on my replacement then my computer. Problem is the silver molding was all rough as if someone forgot to replace the molding. So I called it in. My 2nd replacement is brand new. The screen is very similiar in touch except I have to push down a little harder. My question is, does anyone know how to make it click easier? Also the screen is not as, "white," as the replacement and original. Thanks for any help...

essentially, is it possible to make animated pictures last longer? Specifically, MMS pictures. I have received a few, and they last MAYBE 5-6 seconds before stopping. I can restart them, but then they only last maybe 4-5 seconds.
I know it's not related, but I did check my browser general properties, and have already set "repeat animations" to "as many as image specifies". MMS and SMS options have nothing that relates to the issue, nor does the Messaging app options.insight? feedback? have a coke and a smile and shut the f--- up?!?!
Not knowing the technical details of how Blackberry pushes email, I would like one of you experts out there to fill me in. I use a couple of "mail.com" accounts. Emails sent to me through those accounts can be significantly delayed in arriving to my BB. Sometimes a few minutes, but sometimes up to a half hour.

The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. View 5 Replies View RelatedI put my phone into bedside mode each night as I put into my charging pod. I have bedside mode configured as "Phone Calls Only", all message options are set with vibration off for this profile. I have reviewed the BerryBuzz settings and they are set with vibration off as well. However, each time I get a new message with bedside mode enabled my phone vibrates once. I even put the phone into silent mode and dang thing still vibrates. This has worked fine in the past. Only changes is new OS (.607) install and newest BerryBuzz.
I'm not sure if this is a OS or BerryBuzz related issue, will have to disable BerryBuzz and see if this still occurs. Anyone else experiencing this type of behavior?
Can I get rid of my Catch-All message icon? Hiding it doesn't stop the duplicates in there from showing a message count at the top of the screen.It also stores Voice Mail and missed calls.I have separated my emails from my sms's. I don't need teh catch-all icon/folder.

Is there any way to edit what comes up? When I type "You" I get "Ypu" or "Tou". When I type "sorry" I get "apert". Any way to edit what comes up when you type words that are this common?

On the blackberry I got a message I've never seen before-"Reload Software 507" and it has a weird icon with a circle and line through it.
I'm afraid to do anything! What do i do, HELP!!! Edit: Now it keeps shutting off, rebooting itself, and then the same error message appears. Meanwhile, the mac is still trying to update the storm2. Its a vicious circle of death!
Lately I have been getting an error message when I select a movie to play on my storm 2 - it reads:
Uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_medialibrary(341) is not responding ; process terminated
I just got my Storm 2 this afternoon (I had a Storm 1 for 1-1/2 years). After I restored my files from Desktop Manager I went to Application Loader to see what I wanted to take off or put on. I removed all the foreign language stuff and added a few items. When I clicked next I got an error message saying there was not enough memory in my device. This is crazy since I have 117 MB of free application memory. I am using Desktop Manager v. 4.7 that worked fine for my Storm 1. Do I have to use v5 for the Storm 2, or is it some other problem.

However, when I reboot or battery pull my Storm2, SMS conversations get messed up so that all replies get combined into one message and the same happens with messages from the other party. It makes conversations extremely difficult to follow.
