Im in a country that doesnt have enterprise server services so to access internet i loaded Opera mini on my Storm. We load prepaid airtime using a command like *xxx*xxxxxxxxxxx# and then you dial. My Storm treats this request like a normal call, so i cant load airtime.

My device tried to reboot and then ended on a white screen with the message "Reload Software:07I have gone through this 3 times now today, I tried a force detect process without the battery but it always gets stuck at the loading modules process. I know I need to get the OS loaded back in now because I think my phone is now wiped out, but I don't know what to do...

My phone is charging perfect. The problem I have is that I cannot turn on my Blackberry Storm phone. On the screen sometimes only the red lights show and other time for the longest the hour glass or the a lil box will show up on the screen. It wont allow me to see anything on the screen.
View 8 Replies View RelatedToday i put my storm on my desktop and looked at it for it had shut itself off then it tried loading itself up again it got past the black screne to a white one trying to load and then it just stops a message pops up saying something like jump: PFault something like that then it shuts off red light comes up

then goes away then it tries again with the same result. the battery is charged and i dont know what to do any suggestions hat may get it to work again. the error message lasts about 1 second before going away

I have a storm 2 9550 on MTS Mobility running v5.0.0.517. I cannot get app world to work anymore on my phone. I have tried the suggestions on the boards and still have no luck. App world installs but when I start it it just stays on the loading screen when I try to start it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo lately, I've been having trouble with my storm running very slow. It does the "loading" graphic, or the spinning clock, or whatever it's called ALL the time. I pop my battery all the time and it doesn't seem to help. And the Storm will do this even when I have barely anything open. For example, at the moment, if I press the menu key, the only programs I have are my browser, BBM, the home icon, message icon and phone icon. That's it. But every time I pick my phone up to do something, I get the loading thing. I tried clearing my browser cache, but that didn't help. I also deleted a bunch of saved y!m message logs and deleted some pics, but still no go. It never used to be this slow, I have Verizon Wireless, and I'm running on V4.7.0.148.

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

My phone is now speaking every command (it didn't have this option before it went for repair!) but it keeps asking me to enter my passcode but when I do nothing appears in the four passcode boxes - all the phone does is repeat out loud my passcode number. I've had my phone since black friday, and just yesterday started having a strange problem with it. It was in my pocket and it vibrated once so I checked what it was and it said "MTP initialization" at the top and "Charging" at the bottom, which is what it does when I plug it into my computer or charge it. It seemed weird to me because it definitely wasn't plugged into anything at all, it was in my pocket. When I got home, I plugged it into the charger for about 2 hours.then when I unplugged it, it did the same thing, but it kept doing it. It'd look like I plugged it into my computer when I didn't, and then a few seconds later the "charging" and everything would go away and it would say "Running Media Scanner" which is what it says whenever I unplug it from the computer. Since that time yesterday, it has literally been doing this every few seconds, cycling between thinking it's plugged into a computer and then being unplugged.In addition, for a while yesterday, the Voice Command kept opening and closing on it's own, not sure why. It seems to have stopped doing that now, but it keeps doing the charging/media scanning thing. I can actually use it when it's doing this thing, it just keeps vibrating every few seconds which gets annoying, and slows the phone down a little bit. But when the voice command thing kept opening and closing every few seconds, it was almost unusable because every time I'd try to do something, it'd cut out and go to the voice command.

I have one working well after hours of frustration. It seemed that I could only get this first account to sync when I set the email account up through the SYNC EMAIL menu (now I can't find this anywhere). (this is after using the email wizard, getting connection but no new messages). This second account was created with the email wizard as I can't find the SYNC EMAIL command. Both accounts seem to connect. But only one collects the gazillion test emails I keep sending.
