i have recently encountered a problem where my Blackberry Storms Red light will not turn off even when i put it on standby. I have tries rebooting and all other tips using the options but nothing has seemed to work. There is also a pain that when i tried to download the latest Os to check if this is the problem my Blackberry wont connect to my PC.

Its draining my battery & is annoying! When I turn on my video camera, the light brightens. I'm so sick of this stupid light! Short of putting blk electrical tape over it I don't know what to do.

Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.

The back of it, which was facing outward got damp and everything worked fine when I got home; I took out battery and made sure everything was dry but when I put the battery in the Red indicator light just blinks.

I looked around on my phone to see if something was wrong or there was an update or something and there was no indication why it was on. Then after that it stopped. Im not running any apps that change the color of your LED. So does anyone have any idea why it would do this?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have had my storm for a week now and after restarting to finalise deleting some apps this green flashing LED light came on. But it's not like a coverage indicator where it flashes constantly it flashes 8 times then goes of for about 5 minutes and then flashes again.
So I tried a battery pull to see if it would go away and the green LED did but now the exact same thing is happening except the LED is red (flashes 8 times stops for 5 mins flashes 8 times and so on)
Basically I downloaded crunchSMS and found its a lot quicker and less laggy than the default SMS program. So when I get a text now 2 icons pop up (SMS and crunchSMS) and I have to go to both to stop my phone from blinking. Is there a way to make the default stop showing up as a new message and a blinking light?

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

I then left it in my car (in the heat) for a few hours and it turned on and was working.The only issue was, the keyboard wasn't functioning properly. View 6 Replies View RelatedMy 9000 will not turn on. The red indicator light comes on and stays on for approx 1 minute. The screen then switches to white battery with a red "X" through it. I have tried other batteries that were verified to be good with the same results. I have tried other wall chagers with the same results.
I have repeatedly left the phone on charge for several hours, removed the battery and replaced it after a few moments with the same results.
This issue started after the battery became very depleted after leaving the phone on bedside mode overnight. The phone had been operating without any issues up until this point. It is approx 2 1/2 years old.
All my contacts are on the phone and have not been backed up or saved on the sim card.
While I was charging the phone with lead to my PC i turned the phone on, Then blue light LED came on and nothing else happens next.. i have tried all the buttons, and everything fails. I even wiped the Data on the phone too!
When i try pressing the different buttons to start the phone it comes up as normal with samsung galaxy s6 powered as android then after that just black screen with the blue led light stuck on, but when i charge it it goes to charge screen when i press power button and down..
I dropped my iPhone 4S in the toilet. I dried it and shook out as much water as I could. I removed the SD card and put everything in a bowl of rice. It is still in there and everything appears to be working normally, but it won't shut off and the camera light stays on. I've tried the restart thing where you press and hold the pwr button and the home button. What should I do?

My X2 often thinks it is still charging when unplugged. Have to power cycle to resolve issue.
