all my sms inbox is shown as sms sent by one contact. i cant send sms to other contacts. if i send it is sent to the earlier one. i have to delete all the chat massages to sms someone else.there is no way to separate by general options! my inbox is completely a mess. my phone earlier showed sms seperated on contacts but after updating it is not. im having v5, what i want is to separate sms based on recipient.

I have a quick question and I have searched and cannot find what Im looking for. I appologize ahead of time for being a NOOB. Is there anyway to separate texts by contact? My BB shows every text thats been sent. Im wanting to compress all these texts into individual lines per contact. For instance if someone sends me 10 texts, it shows them all instead of 1 line for that particular contact.

View 2 Replies View Relatedold storm 1 worked great up until the key board on the phone quit. went to verizon, they couldn't fix it and so i got a new storm2. that is where the trouble started. they down loaded the contact list to the new phone and for some reason everything appeared 4 times. they couldn't fix and after a lot of hell and a wipe of my desktop manager and a new download i have managed to erase the contacts from my phone. however, now the contact list on the phone will not come up and of course the sync still doesn not happen. it shows to be syncing but it always quits with 2 remaining and i get the dreaded error message and then the manager shuts down. the calendar did sync finally and that is working. the emails work and i can make a call as long as i remember the number. i have turned off the picture sync as the forums said that could be the problem.

I have disabled all content protection, tried changing the smart dialing settings, cleared the event log, tried reordering the contact list and did a few battery pulls.
Some of the contact names are still working correctly, but it is a select few and I cannot figure out why only those ones are showing. I have not installed any new software recently or changed any settings other than to try and fix this issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I changed jobs and as a result I used crackutil to remove my old companies (BES) IT policy from my BB.The new company activated via wireless activation (BES) and now I have 2 "desktop" contact lists. I am trying to sync with lotuc notes but cant as only the 2nd desktop list will sync. my original contacts are in the other desktop list and will not sync. I have tried going to contacts > options> typing rset and it deletes the lists but i cant get them to load from back up into one list.

I can access the phone but contacts do not come up in BROWSE feature of Backup assist. Also it can't seem to pull them in thru a BB Manager recent back up.

I had to reinstall my OS a couple weeks ago. I installed the official 5.0.0.328 from Verizon, and now for some reason, my contact lists aren't syncing with my Gmail account. I went into the settings to try to enable it, but the option is grayed out (it says that Wireless Synchronization is Not Available). What happened, and how do I fix my problem? I appreciate any help. BTW I have two GMail accounts on my phone so I don't want to use Google Sync.

I've done this in the past with no trouble, but this time we're transitioning to Outlook, and I'm hearing from numerous colleagues that it DOES empty my Contacts and replaces them with what Contacts I have within Outlook - which is about 5% of what I have in my BB Contact List. I need to do this today. Can anyone help me in understanding how to access and at least print the list so that I know how to keep it? I have two iPhone mine and my sons, we both have iTunes account ID's on the same pc. so how do i keep my iPhone separate from his apps, music, podcasts, when i sync. he has different styles in music and stuff. so when i hook up my iphone and sign ito itunes i see all of his apps he has a lot more than i do. I thought that having a different log in id's meant that if i sign into itunes with my id that itunes would only show the apps and music that i have used or downloaded to itunes. but the last time i did this it had all of the apps and podcasts that my son downloaded even though it was my ID. not been on here for too long but one thing i have noticed is it is sometimes very difficult to work out who has an X10 and an X10 mini !!! As i have the mini i only really want to find out about problems and solutions for that phone,i know the X10 runs the same software ... ish, but it is not the same phone and has different features and a slightly different way of working.
