I have a problem with my only goes for about a minute and then goes OFF y wipe the phone install the new software and the problem still there. anyone knows what to do ?????

I bought an unlocked BB Storm 2 9550 from India (to be fair, it is a US Verizon BB Storm 2 9550 which has been unlocked). I used it for a week while I was in India on an Indian service provider (Airtel) and everything (email, bb messenger, browser, apps, etc) worked fine - the top right corner showed EDGE. It worked fully well in India.
Then I came to UK a few days ago and put my Vodafone UK sim in it; I sent the registeration request from the Host Routing Table menu (which was confirmed). I even registered my email on mobileemail.vodafone.net. Now the email is working fine and so is the BB Messenger. BUT I am unable to use the internet such as through the browser and the apps (facebook, bloomberg, time magazine, etc.). The top right corner says 3G (and sometimes GSM when I am on a call).I have spoken several times to the Vodafone tech staff and in the end they said that there was nothing they could do.
On the Vodafone tech staff's suggestions I have tried: deleting and reinstalling the service books (except provisioning), several battery pulls, I even tried putting back the old OS .320 (I currently have the leaked .428 version installed - in India my blackberry worked well on both versions).
Additional notes: I do not have the Vodafone Live! icon in my menu, My browser settings only show "hotspot browser" - there is no option as "internet browser" - I am guessing that will only appear when the bb internet starts working.I hope that is all the information you need.I will be very grateful if you can help me start the internet/gprs on my phone!
May I ask if OS 6 will work compatibly with my storm 9550. I would like to know so I can download it and upgrade my phone.

Yesterday I synced my bold for updates and now facebook doesn't on my mobile network and only on wifi. How I can change it back so I can use my mobile network rather than wifi.

Cannot use e mail on phone because, according to Simple, Verion has not released the service book for e mail on this phone. Every time I try to go to a full site, it displays a loading bar and after that it just shows a blank screen. Even when I try to search on google, the result page is always blank. 2G Signal not working.I have had my BB Torch Since November last year, I have been working away from home alot and never had any problems with signal. It has always been on 3G set up on my phone.Due to a new little family member i have had time off from my work and been staying with my family, I have noticed that the signal in my house on 3G is not great. I switched it over to 2G on my handset and noticed it gets NO SIGNAL at all. I went out side and still the same no signal on 2G but soon as i change it over to 3G its fine.In the past i have had the Bold 9000 and it was set up on 2G & 3G so it would change over to which is stronger.I got my old bold out and have tried my sim in it and it works on 2G with no problems.Is there a fault in the torch with 2G signals?
Just got an IPhone 4s and the ringer wont work when called the sound works fine just not when called or texted. Phone not ringing.

I recently dropped my White Iphone 4s down a toilet on a night out!!! I quickly picked it up and took it home and dryed in off and placed it in a bowl of rice and a few days later everything was fine and working just like normal apart from some water under the screen. Also the Wi-Fi option on my iphone just isn't displayed and greyed out.
I have also recently updated the software on the phone to the new 5.1.1 which i have seen there has been problems with about the wi-fi dropping and not being displayed. I would just like some advice if anyone else has had this problem and if which i think it probably is, the hardware has become loose inside the phone and its not the software.

I have a Linxys router that works fine with my PC, Xbox, ipad, google chrome and Television. For some reason mine and my wife's iphone 4s iOS 7.1.1 will not connect all of the time. It either will tell me, "unable to connect" or it will connect to the wifi but internet will not work on the phones. This always happens in the evening. The phones will work sometimes during the day. I have logged into the router and there are no other devices connected to the wireless other than the ones that I have in my house. I also have a "guest network" that has always been turned off. All of my other devices always work while the iphones won't connect.Â

When I use this usb charger on my pc it works perfectly fine, but when I use it on my laptop it doesn't work. When I use it on my laptop it says "charging" for about 2-3 seconds, and then I get the message "not charging". Now I tried looking this up and found out that Nokia chargers usually have a current of 800 mA meanwhile usb's are usually 500 mA. Is there a way to raise the usb current to 800 mA? Also why is it working on my pc and not my laptop. My laptop is newer than my pc and it definitely isn't a hardware problem or anything wrong with my laptop. Possibly there's a setting I must change? It worked on my friends toshiba laptop as well. My pc and laptop are both Compaq.

But today, during several phonecalls, I was told that they hear me sunk, like I was in a jar or something, and sometimes with few cracklings.
My husband is in France with his brand new iPhone 4s (Verizon) and cannot make a call or receive one. The wi-fi works so he can use email but no voice. Verizon says his sim is activated for global but so far ha been of no use.

I cant send or recieve email on my iPhone / iPad when on WIFI - when I turn off WIFI, it all works fine on 3G. I tried to delete my exchange-account, and then both gmail accounts works fine on wifi. Any thoughts? or rather; I think maybe it sends/recieves, but it takes a very long time.

I had an authorized seller replace the broken screen on my iPhone 4S, but now the bottom dock of icons is unresponsive. Weird thing is that I can't access the icons on the dock, nor open the lantern / calculator / clock / camera on the icons when I pull up the quick menu, but aside from that, that part of the screen works ... I can use the keyboard completely, you name it, everything except the icons on the dock and the bottom ones on the pull up menu ! Â
The guy who fixed my screen said it must be a software glitch, but I've restarted and restored the phone (from backup and as a new one) and the problem is still there !Â
Any chance he messed up something while changing the screen ?Â

My 5800's music library is not working anymore and it cant play mp3 and other sound files but when I remove the memory card it can play the sounds also my picture editor is not working. In my memory card I found many folders namely _PAlbTN. is it a virus? Do I need to reformat my memory card? And what do I have to copy on my PC when I format it? Just the mp3 videos and pictures? Or do I have to copy also the folders like private, sys, etc?

View 6 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a replacement bb bold 9000 off ebay (it's an unlocked at&t handset that i bought after my bb bold got stolen... total bummer) and it was working fine all week up until last night when it stopped being able to handle incoming and outgoing calls and texts. The internet and email functions still work which is very peculiar. also some further info, when i put my sim card into another handset (in this case a nokia e65) all my normal call functions work and when i put another sim card in the bold the same thing happens (when i try to make a call it instantly pops up with a call failed warning). another thing is the bold shows full service coverage... currently the bold about shows... v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) im on australia and for some reason i cant update the os to v5
