I dont have a "SHOW KEYBOARD" on my main screen. i'm trying to clear my logs but in order to do that i need to "SHOW KEYBOARD"...HOW CAN I ENABLE THAT INTO MY BB STORM

View 9 Replies View RelatedHow do you clear the call log from the phone application. When I go to the messages folder and open call log, and do a delete prior it clears them there. But when I hit the green key to use the phone and then the middle icon for call log, they are still listed there. I know I highlight one and scroll forever but I have like 6 months or more worth! And where is it set how long to keep call log?
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get the keyboard to STOP popping up automatically when one opens an SMS message using the Storm 9530 running v5.0.0.328 (Platform 4.2.0.128)? I do like the threaded messages - very handy - but I'm old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. That tiny little slit with one line of text just doesn't get it for me when trying to read the SMS messages. Anyone find a way to stop that keyboard from coming up automatically?

When you're in a group chat or individual chats the keyboard does not appear when you click inside the text box or choose show keyboard from the menu. I've heard this from a few other people I know that have the Storm 2. This is very frustrating. Please help!!!!!!!
View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to OS 5 on my BB storm 9500 caller id contact wont show on screen when I receive a call, I just can see the number but not the "contact name" stored under "contacts" I tried puttin my country code at the beginning of the number and that fixed the issue with the sms but with the caller ID just displays the number without the name....

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently had the $45 mo. data plan (including corporate email) with Verizon on my Blackberry Storm 2 9550 and i reduced it to the $30 plan. When i was under the $45 plan I had the enterprise activation on my device linking it to my Microsoft Outlook email over at work. All in all, I realized I didn't really need all of the linking up, but just needed to view my emails on the go.I ended up setting up an 'Other' email account with the address from work. It works just fine, but I'm now getting two of the same email from work over and over. I have a feeling it has to do with the previous enterprise activation linking it to my work 'Desktop'.Is there a way around this without having to reset my BlackBerry?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my BB STORM 9520: after a phone call I made, the keyboard is completely stuck on the Homepage.So, instead of having a regular BB homepage with the menu etc..I have the QWERTY keyboard not going away in anyway.If I type some keys, it brings me to the "numeric keyboard", the one you use to dial the numbers when you have to make calls.

However I changed my keyboard settings to full qwerty for a bit and then forgot to change it back before the phone locked. Now I don't know which letters correspond to the numbers of my password!

It is a royal pain in the a** having to go back and forth between the two keyboards when you are typing numbers with decimal points. Furthermore how do you get this complaint to someone that could do something about it?

However when I try to swipe it down, the keyboard does disappear. Is this a common problem with the 5.0.0.425 or is it just me who is unlucky?

Has anyone noticed that the device software v5 upgrade has a bug? I am unable to activate the alpha keyboard to enter registration codes for my purchased applications. Only the numberical keyboard is working.

But now I can't seem to bring up the vkeyboard on the home screen to allow me to enter the code. All the instructions say to open the menu and select "show VK" but that's not showing in the menu. Also, I mapped it to a side key and it brings it up everywhere BUT the home screen. Did rim disable this ability?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever I connect my Storm to my laptop to transfer videos on to the media card in my Storm, when I disconnect it, and go to media:video, every video that I have ever had on my phone is listed. A battery pull refreshes the list, and it then only shows the videos that are actually currently on the card. Is there any way I can refresh the list without rebooting?

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. View 8 Replies View RelatedHas a Storm and it just shut off on. When I pull the battery, the red light comes on for a few seconds and the screen and buttons light up. Then, it starts over. 20 minutes later and it's still in that same cycle.
It's rocking Verizon's official 5.0 and she doesn't do anything to modify or hack it. I've never encountered this before.
I'm wondering if the OS became corrupt, but we're @ Red Lobster and there's nothing I can do now.
