Ive got a new 9500 3 months old and the qwerty keyboard sometimes goes all blurred with several numbers letters appearing superimposed on each other. Can I stop this? Also sometime when using bb messenger i cant type at all. It does this a bout 3- times a day
View 3 RepliesIs there any way to get the keyboard to STOP popping up automatically when one opens an SMS message using the Storm 9530 running v5.0.0.328 (Platform 4.2.0.128)? I do like the threaded messages - very handy - but I'm old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. That tiny little slit with one line of text just doesn't get it for me when trying to read the SMS messages. Anyone find a way to stop that keyboard from coming up automatically?

When you're in a group chat or individual chats the keyboard does not appear when you click inside the text box or choose show keyboard from the menu. I've heard this from a few other people I know that have the Storm 2. This is very frustrating. Please help!!!!!!!
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my BB STORM 9520: after a phone call I made, the keyboard is completely stuck on the Homepage.So, instead of having a regular BB homepage with the menu etc..I have the QWERTY keyboard not going away in anyway.If I type some keys, it brings me to the "numeric keyboard", the one you use to dial the numbers when you have to make calls.

However I changed my keyboard settings to full qwerty for a bit and then forgot to change it back before the phone locked. Now I don't know which letters correspond to the numbers of my password!

It is a royal pain in the a** having to go back and forth between the two keyboards when you are typing numbers with decimal points. Furthermore how do you get this complaint to someone that could do something about it?

However when I try to swipe it down, the keyboard does disappear. Is this a common problem with the 5.0.0.425 or is it just me who is unlucky?

Has anyone noticed that the device software v5 upgrade has a bug? I am unable to activate the alpha keyboard to enter registration codes for my purchased applications. Only the numberical keyboard is working.

But now I can't seem to bring up the vkeyboard on the home screen to allow me to enter the code. All the instructions say to open the menu and select "show VK" but that's not showing in the menu. Also, I mapped it to a side key and it brings it up everywhere BUT the home screen. Did rim disable this ability?

I want to use my arabic qwerty keyboard.
I've upgraded C7-00 from RP1.2 to Anna 25.07. It was done via WiFi from mobile itself. There is an issue with QWERTY keyboard. It is available in SMS, Calendar but not in Contacts. Here old-style keyboard is still used (which shows only possible letters from available phonebook entries). It doesn't change if I set another default language.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got this phone off Amazon market place, and when I flip the phone to the left to use the qwerty keyboard, the letter 'E' does not work correctly, sometimes it does work but other's it just spams my phone with the letters next to it (W and R). The thing which confuses me is when I go to use a menu on the same place it works fine, just not on the qwerty keyboard, also when I turn the phone to the right to use the qwerty keyboard on that side it seems to work fine.
