apparently i cant use amazon MP3 application with my device (i strongly doudt it) or with my carrier (telus)? i contacted the usuless customer service of my carrier but meanwhile i thought i would drop a line here until i get an answer to ask if there was another option?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had the v10 for 2 weeks and love everything about it so far (came from Samsung Galaxy S5). I am having an issue with music I purchased from Amazon. Even though I have downloaded it to the phone via the Amazon Music app, it does not show up in my music library via the music player. I went in through the file explorer and I can see the folders but they are empty. Do I try deleting them and re-downloading? It only seems to apply to a few songs purchased just before I switched phones. I had most everything on my SD card on the S5 and simply plugged that card into my v10 (as I wait for my 200 GB freebie card )...

My 2-year contract ends in November, but I am eligible for upgrade now. If I upgrade now. Does the new 2-year contract start from the day I upgrade? Or it's an additional 2 years after my expiring-in-Nov contract?
And why I am not considered "Add a new service plan" and instead I am just "Upgrade for existing customers"? The price point on Amazon is different these two types.

Got Android OS 5.0 lollipop update today 2/3/2015...on my SamGS5900v...all seems well except the Amazon MP3 app was misbehaving when using Screens hot one hand swipe across the screen. Each picture I took caused this app to want to send err report ...I hit send and then it came up with several apps to select how I wanted to send... but none of them worked and the another notify window says Amazon MP3 app crashed closed somewhere along the way while in this app...it started a Cloud download which I killed by forcing stop and disabling.
locating the app version number; and got a newer version of the Amazon Music with Prime version. When I downloaded/ installed that version, it automatically wiped over the previous version which was still disabled when the new one installed. All traces of the previous version were gone.Why didn't the 5.0 Update, Find and replace, or just Uninstall Automatically?This tells me a lot about many of the "Improvements?" Are Really applied.I have also found 2 more Apps that were misbehaving and applied same solution of finding version number and going to originator to replace with newer version.No uninstall, No Update.

I have purchased 4 MP3 music albums from Amazon. Their MP3 downloader software automatically ports the music over to iTunes, and the tracks appear in my iTunes library on my PC. However when I synch my iPhone this music does not move over to my iPhone.
My iPhone options include "manually manage music and videos" - is this a possible factor? When I check under Music, there is an unchecked box by "Synch Music." However if I check this box it will synch the entire music library.
My music from iTunes downloads or CD imports has always synched with no problem, so I am wondering if this problem has to do with the source being Amazon.
I've enabled "Unknown sources" , no screen filter , i have Lollipop , debug mode on , and every time i hit instal after some seconds it shows me app could not be installed !!! I can install other apps not included in the app store but fail only on the amazon app store.

To be clear, this is not the Android Market but the Amazon Appstore for Android.After the upgrade, I did have to login to the Amazon Appstore, but could use and download apps fine.I saw some posts in various places regarding people having trouble running apps they had download from the Amazon Appstore. They were told to delete and re-download the Appstore and login again. That didn't seem to have any effect for me.
I noticed that under my account in the Appstore, I had 3 devices registered with names close to 'Motorola Droid X'. I deregistered all of them and signed in again, from the phone, just to clean up all of those devices.Still no updates present when looking at the Update Available option from the Appstore.The last thing I did was go to the Amazon Appstore on the phone, select menu and My Apps, then press the Refresh Icon towards the top of the display. Then select the Update Available option (as I'd done many times previously) and the apps that I was expecting to have updates, all showed up.
I copied over videos from amazon instant to my droid x and it says needs need lisences. How do I go about fixing this so I can watch my videos. It only happenx for some of the movies I tranfered.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I uprgraded my Xoom wi-fi to ICS, Amazon Prime videos became totally unviewable. I almost gave up ever being able to use the Xoom for viewing streaming videos again. Then I read, on this forum, that Adobe had upgraded Flash and that now the videos should be okay. I have since watched bout 4 or 5 videos and they were very smooth without a single hiccup or sign of dropped frames. However, I tried to watch "Explorers" and it is totally unviewable with jerky sound and blocky video. I tried restarting it several times with no change. Then I picked a different video, also on Amazon Prime, and it worked fine.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a wifi only xoom running android 4.0.3. yesterday i got the ics update and my ability to watch video from amazon on my xoom in my browser went bad. prior to the update it worked on and off but when it had problems they were never like this, and when it had problems they showed up on all computers i own that tried to use the service. the problem on the xoom tablet continues today. the video is pixelated and very choppy. the audio is very crackly and popping. this is not the way it worked prior to the upgrade.
i can watch the same video on my desktop chrome browser and it works fine. i can watch it on firefox browser and it works. on the xoom i can use the andriod marketplace to buy a video and watch it and it works fine. i can use the xoom browser to view ted and Internet videos and they work fine. is it the browser, the ics update, or is the amazon delivery system antagonistic to ics? also i noticed a very sharp drop in audio volume output of all kinds once the isc upgrade had been done. i simply can not turn up the volume loud enough to hear it easily.
What a crummy weekend for the Music apps to start crashing - Memorial Day weekend when I'm driving so much. Google Music keeps crashing as soon as I start navigation in Google Maps. I tried Amazon Prime Music too - same issue. So, I'm thinking it's the recently-updated Maps app that isn't multitasking well.

No matter what 'm trying (deleting cache and cookies, closing the browser, shutting down the system, etc.), everything I get is blank, greenish map. I have tried both Firefox and IE. Strangely enough, on my first trial with IE everything seemed to work until I was asked to update my maps-plugin. After that, same problem as with Firefox.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNoticed at the end of a charging cycle from fully discharged state, that my Blackberry Curve 8520 was displaying"App Err 523ESET"n a white screen.The BB has now become unusable since it has remained in this error state inspite of various resolutions tried as below. ave already tried the following1. Tried hard Reset by removing and putting back the battery. After the usual booting delay of about 2 mins, the BB displayed "Blackberry" on the screen and which was followed by the dreaded white screen again with the above error.. Tried Soft Reset by pressing "alt" kay, "shft" kay on right & "del" key simultaneouly. The BB reboots, but at the end of it, displays the same 'App Err 523' as in 1 above.
3. Tried updating the OS from Blackberry Desktop Manager Ver 6 (?) .....
a) physically connected the BB with USB cable to Laptop ( Windows 7 ) while BB sreen showed the above error.b) Desktop Manager pops up a window displaying 'not able to communicate with the device' and prompts o 'Retry' OR 'Update' OR 'Cancel'.) Clicking on 'Retry' does not help. The same message window pops up again.d) Clicking on 'Update' pops up a window stating 'Checking for available Updates' but goes in indefinite Wait State. While in this state, triggered Soft Reset ( as in 2 above), causing a Reboot. While rebooting, communication with between Desktop and the BB takes place and a new window pops up displaying " No updates available at present" and asks to provide email id "for receiving updates when available".
e) Also tried to boot the BB in Safe Mode by hard booting ( with battery removal & putting back) and by keeping ESCAPE key pressed. The BB Did not boot in Safe Mode, but at the end of the booting cycle, displayed the same 'App Err 523' as in 1 above. ( this also dispells the popular notion that a BB goes into this "App Err 523" state because of some third party applications, since any third party applications are supposed to be bypassed when booting is done by keeping ESCAPE key pressed.

I have the latest software update. I also have the latest OVI suite application for Windows Vista and when I try to install the "software support" it fails.
