I've been trying to update my device software for my BB curve 8520 (ver 4.6) to the latest version for the past 2 days. I downloaded the desktop manager for my mac and plugged my phone up but it doesn't show that there is any new updates available for my device.

I did a backup of my iphone 4 ios 4.3.1 before I started upgrading it to ios 5.1. Upgrade went well until i got to the part of restoring from a backup. For some reason, it asked me for a password which i disable on the iphone before i started upgrading. I tried putting the old password which i disabled but no luck. I tried my laptop password also but no luck. Does anyone know which password are they actually asking?

I have been sent a replacement handset via orange, they updated everything at their end with the new pin for it.I cannot access anything blackberry on the handset, checking on the balckberry pages on the internet using my pc it shows that blackberry thinks i am still using my old device.How do I update blackberry to show i have a new device/handset

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my BB 9700 to v 5.0.0.545 (Platform 5.1.0.140)and subsequently pressing on the "mute" button no longer turns on/off "standby mode.I tried the mute button during a phone call and that works fine. So I don't think the issue is hardware.Plus it was all fine before the device update.

The pairing with the Droid 4 was smooth and easy...until I try to use the phone the next time I'm in the truck. The phone features (placing/receiving calls via Bluetooth) are only available to me on that first pairing instance. After that the only thing I can do is use the Pandora streaming controls?(I'm posting this on a Kenwood forum too just to cover all the bases!)I'm also get some audio skipping through Bluetooth but I see that is another thread?

How do I transfer what is currently saved on this card and put it onto the new card so that I don't lose any info?

I cant upgrade my Blackberry appworld and when i click on the icon a message appears and says that the password that i entered is invalid but i haven't entered anything. Another thing, I had upgrades for the 2 apps that i dowloaded, i already upgraded it through my desktop but my mobile still has an asterisk on the appworld icon.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk, I've got an early model 3GS serial from week 23.I originally jailbroke it using purplera1n on its original 3.0 firmware. I didn't bother doing any of the updates since then, since everything was working pretty well. As a precaution I have stored my hashed keys with Cydia.
Now there are starting to be newer apps that require firmware 3.1 so I figured I would update.I've read through a few tutorials and it isn't 100% clear what update path I should go. I have tried Pwnage tool on my Macbook and it doesn't seem to detect my phone to put into DFU mode. I have a few questions hopefully someone here can answer:
1) Should I even be using Pwnage tool? Or should I be using blackra1n? Does it matter?
2) With Pwnage tool, when it asks if my phone has been 'pwned' before, should I answer yes or no? When I answer no, it doesn't detect my phone. When I answer yes, it tells me to put the phone into DFU mode myself and reestore using iTunes. Is this safe to do?
I'd like to update to iOS5.1 but devise says I need 1Gb? What can I dump to be able to upgrade?

i'm currently runnung with 4.7.0.1818 but can update to the 5.0 version. i've also tried updating wirelessly but when i check for updates it pops up and says 'unable to send request for available updates'.
