A friend has the Blackberry 8900. She started taking pictures and some of the pictures are locked. We can't delete or send (forward) them. How did they become locked? How do we unlock them so we can forward and or delete them?

I was going through my memorie card and I was attempting to delete pictures. I would click delete and the message "the selected file is read only.are you sure you wish to delete file" I click yes and the picture is still there.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI work for a large Banking group. The Bank uses Vodafone as their provider (i have a work phone). Last week i needed to change my password which i did. But as luck would have it i made it so complicated i forgot what i changed it to. My IT dept unlocked the devise the following day BUT the MEDIA CARD is asking me for the password to access my pictures. I have no idea what my password (the one i changed to) is and therefore cannot see any of the pictures from my wedding or my kids. DOES ANYONE know how i can access my media card to see my pictures again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe one thing I don't get is the picture contacts that I have don't show up when the phone is locked, (the caller ID and specific ring tone if used do), they do show up though if the phone is unlocked, so I'm confused. I know there is the caller ID issue that is resolved by un-ticking contacts in encryption which is what I have done otherwise the contact ID's wouldn't show up when locked. It's not the end of the world, but just a niggle that I would like to resolve.

Keeps going from the black screen to a white screen with the little spinning clock and back? WHat happened?! I don't have insurance on the phone, but I don't think its an "insurance" issue as I didn't do anything. Is it still under warranty since I've only had it since Sept?

after having a great experience with the w580 i decided to buy a w760. so far i love the phone just the way it is. the phone is suppose to be just a retail phone from SE. I read through another thread about unlocking the 'up' key as well as the right and left soft key mods and the camera mod and so i did the itm and xml files but after restarting my phone the only mod that kept i think was the camera mod. do i have to do the 'unbranding' although its technically already debranded so that i can make mods to it? how can i delete some of the locked media/application files?

I recently went to Africa and took a lot of pictures that I'd like to keep. No problem.My problem is that I after that I took a long trip and took maybe 200 pictures of random stuff to post on twitter and now I want to delete the most recent pictures.
Is there an easy way to do this? I tried manually deleting one picture at a time and eventually gave up on doing it this way.
My new galaxy 5 somehow downloaded every picture that I have ever posted on Facebook and Google+, some are duplicates, and I cannot delete them! When I have tapped the top right corner, opened the delete mode and tried to 'click' on the photos it says it is an unsupported file. When I open up the pictures individually and tap the top right corner it doesn't even bring up a delete option. I really, REALLY don't need all my memory used up with this junk.

I am really disappointed with this bug :-( it was working all fine and I dont how suddenly it changed to this worse.I am unable to send images to any of my contacts in BBM on my Bold 9780. I even installed latest version of BBM.When we do Send->Pictures->Select Picture, then it gives that normal preview pan where we can write comment and click on send, In my case i just cant select that send button even when it appears usual as always.
