I saw that Bell had released the os 5 for the 9000. I downloaded it and tried to install it with the desktop manager for mac, but for some reason the file is greyed out when i try to select it. can anybody help?

When I select View Folder and select SMS Inbox I can see all my SMS messages up until current.Does anyone know how to fix the corrupt SMS/MMS icon (which is presumably pointing to a corrupt view of the SMS Inbox)?

View 3 Replies View Relatedhi all. just today my girlfriends 3g somehow greyed out the wifi in the settings. i have tried reseting all the network settings and such but ive only got it to work once and once the phone was reset the wifi was greyed out again. the phone is jailbroken on 3.1.2 and unlocked with blackra1n on tmobile. but yeah on sbsettings for some reason the wifi is on and when i turn it off and reset the phone it turns on again but in settings the wifi is still greyed out and it says no wifi. any advice would be awesome. i have been googling it all day and trying to look all over the forums but no luck. every time everyone says just reset network settings and such but thats not the case.

Ive searched the forums and everybody says to turn off the app you got to application manager/all then hit the turn off button. Well, my turn off button is greyed out. I've cleared cache, cleared data, cleared defaults. I've turned off flipboard and google newstand.This piece of crap app is still running and draining my battery.

I've read everything I can find on greyed out apps and can't find a solution. I've re-installed itunes 3 times, I have restrictions turned off on my iphone, I've transfered purchased apps from my iphone to iTunes synced my iphone many times. Still with iphone plugged into itunes and apps checked I can't access any of my apps. The top half of the app screen is greyed out. I can access my files sharing apps on bottom half of screen.

At first I thought they got deleted and was really upset but upon exploration I have found them. When I go into the media file and go to explore it brings up my device memory then I go to home where there is nothing but I can hide the user folder but when I go into the properties of the user folder I can not unhide it because the hidden button is greyed out. Does anyone know how to change this or fix this? I would really like to have it back to normal! Again I don't have a memory card it is just the user file on the device memory that will not unhide

It is similar to what happened during the outage that happened.I have reinstalled the software (OS 5) O2 won't allow upgrade to OS6. View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a sandisk SD card. Moved picture folders from device to SD card and LOST a ton of them. Read online I needed an official Samsung SD card so I bought one. Put it in yesterday and transferred pics over - so far so good.
Moved apps over to SD card using recommendations I read online, by going into device manager and now the apps are greyed out. They eventually work when you click them but their main icon isn't showing. Widgets I once had on home screens are also gone for those apps moved to SD card.

Recently received a replacement 4s. I restored through iCloud and it worked (slow) but great at restoring all settings, pix, etc except for my music. My laptop recently crashed that I used my iTunes with. I transferred all music via thumb drive to a new computer, and then transferred the music into iTunes. I am now trying to sync my music onto the replacement phone, but only about half of the music is syncing. All music is showing up in my iPhone but half are greyed out? The songs are able to be played on the computer through iTunes but remain unselectable through iPhone. I deleted all songs from iTunes and from the iPhone twice and replaced them twice, still no change? I tried clicking and unclicking sync all music. I tried clicking sync manually. PLEASE HELP. Had no trouble with this with my first iPhone 4s. This is turning into a headache and I am getting frustrated. The replacement came from Apple/Verizon so it is not from a random Joe Shmoe from Ebay.
