Jan 20, 2010Is there a way to get my Bold 9000 to alert me when I receive a meeting invitation? I get lots and lots of email, and I sometimes miss meeting invitations as a result.

View 4 RepliesI use Exchange at work and I receive lots of meeting invitations, some of them I need to forward to one my team members to attend on my behalf, or I need to extend this invitation to people I see relevant to the topic. There is no menu item or a button as "Forward". I need to know how to forward a received meeting invitation to someone else that they will receive it as an invitation and not a regular email

Since upgrading to Gingerbread (2.3.4) on the Motorola Atrix I have not been able to accept/decline/tentative meeting invitations from my phone. Is anyone else having this problem? I do have 2 (multiple) Coporate Sync accounts setup where I am syncing calendar and email etc. I have not attempted to see if having one would make it possible. I can't accept the invite from the calendar nor from the email.
View 15 Replies View RelatedHow do I copy a calendar appointment (whether meeting or to-do)?Then how do stop the meeting alert from continuing on until I stop it. I know how to "swipe" the screen to stop it - but if you are away from your phone and the alarm goes off, I don't want it going on forever.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I am sent calendar invites I cannot accept them on my iPhone 4S. I get "your response to the invitation cannot be sent".
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy problem is identified because I have the icon on the home page saying I have an unread blackberry message (now 2) however when I go into blackberry messenger I have no new messages or updates. I believe it stems from a request from someone to add me to their contact list. However I do not know this contact. Their name consists of symbols and 2 thumbs up emoticons. The message that comes with the request is entirely in a foreign language of which I cannot understand the symbols. The first thing I did was to ignore the request as it was very suspicious. Since then I deleted the pin from my ignore list. After that was when I noticed the icon on my home page which wouldn't go away. I have tried getting known contacts to blackberry message me, I have sent bb messages. I have phoned out, been phoned, turned my phone off and on again and nothing has cleared it.
Today I received a review of the request ... so I declined. But then it appeared again shortly after so I decided to accept and then shortly proceeded to delete the contact from my contacts and ignore at the same time. Since then I now supposedly have 2 blackberry messages unread... however on opening the application I have no unread chats/messages and no new recent updates.
I've received a spam invitation on calendar app through my gmail account recently and accidentally declined the invitation. I'm not a very technical person but I've managed to delete the culprit and stop gmail from automatically adding events I haven't responded to to my calendar. What I wonder is that would my declining that spam invitation do any harm to my accounts, iPhone or iMac? If yes, what should I do?

i have a Curve 8300 with v4.5.0.124 (platform 2.7.0.92) and 5.0.0.57 BBM application. I could not join/accept any BBM group invitation as it goes to SMS list instead of pending list in BBM folder. What should I do to correct this problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to iOS 5.1, any new Exchange meeting invitations trigger an alert, as if they were an actual meeting reminder. I don't want the invitations to trigger an alert, I only want the actual meeting reminders to trigger an alert (if they were programmed to do so). I can't seem to turn off the invitation alerts without also turning off the meeting reminder alerts. Is there a way to stop invitations from triggering an alert?

I travel a lot to different timezones with my iPhone, and have just got back from India which is 4.5 hour ahead of the UK. Since getting back and resetting the timezone in General - Date & Time to London, I've found what seems to be a bug.
I have my iPhone synced to our Exchange server at work.
When I received ICS meeting requests from anyone, the meeting request notification that appears shows the time in India Time Zone, even though if I then open the request it's shown as the correct time in my Calendar and in the details of the request.
As mentioned, I'm set the the correct timezone in Date & Time. And in Calendar settings I've tried with TimeZone Support both on and off, but nothing makes a difference.
I have also tried rebooting the iPhone. I haven't done a restore yet as I have loads of stuff on there and it takes ages to restore.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently downlaoded a bunch of ringtones off of the internet, and I also recently added another email account to my tour. I Assigned different alert tones to the 2 email addresses, sms messages, bbm messages, and facebook alerts. I have found that when I get a message, and the assigned alert tone is activated, as soon as that tone turns off anoter different alert is then activated. I cannot figure out why or how to prevent this from happening.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.
For some reason, my E63 won't let me add a meeting via the calendar function. After I've filled in the details and press 'save', a dialoge box appears which says 'System Error'. I can however, add items to my 'things to do' list.
Also, when I connect the phone to my laptop via Nokia pc Suite, the calendar function fails to register and I cannot add a meeting via pc Suite either. Everything else (contacts, messages etc) can be accessed with no problem.
This is a recent thing: last week it was fine and I don't recall making any changes to the setup. I have the latest firmware but re-insalled in anyway. This has made no difference.
My wife and I have the E6. On my wife's phone she has the possibility to add people to the meeting and sent an E-mail to those persons. On my phone I don't have that option. The only difference I see between both phones is that my wife has different mail accounts, and I have only a G-mail account. Is it possible that G-mail is not compatible with meeting requests?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am seeing a problem when accepting Meeting Invitations on my iPhone or vice versa on my iPad.I get a meeting invitation on both devices. If I accept them on my iPhone they still show on my iPad as I have not accepted them yet. This can go in the other direction too.if I accepted them on my iPad first and they still show as not accepted on my iPhone. But, the weird thing is on the device I just accepted them on and in my Outlook calendar on my desktop they show up correctly (just not on the second device).
The other funny and weird part is if I go to accept them after the first time on say my iPhone (so, now I go to accept them on the iPad because they still show as not accepted on this device) and now I accept them on the iPad it will accept them.now the meeting invitations are sent back to my iPhone as not accepted. I can keep going back and forth with this. If I go back to my iPhone to accept them, then they show back up on my iPad (with red circle notification of x number over calendar app) as not accepted or like they are new invitations. So, I can can going back and forth with this and one device will always show that I have meeting invitations waiting to be accepted when I have already accepted them on one device.p.s. I have the latest iOS software on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. This happened with 4.x iOS software too.

My calendar appointments come through OK but I always noticed that I cannot see the attendees/invitees for meetings that are booked in my Outlook calendar. I thought that was a limitation in the sync then I noticed one of my coworkers had the same meeting invite synced to their iPhone and they could see the names of the people included in the meeting. I asked them about it but they had no idea how they did it. Is there a setting in iTunes or the iPhone which controls this?
