I have a blackberry pearl 9105. I have recently updated it on the PC using the software that the phone came with on the disk.. Since then I have 2 new messages symbols on the phone which I can't get rid off. I have no new messages either SMS, MMS or EMAILS. I am having trouble getting rid of the symbol.. This is really starting to bug me now and don't know what it is.

It is similar to what happened during the outage that happened.I have reinstalled the software (OS 5) O2 won't allow upgrade to OS6. I have deleted the WiFi connection and re installed, but still it won't go white and it is affecting my mobile data usage as my phone is using the network signal for internet rather than WiFi.

i went into my text messages- and highlighted them all i accidently clicked mark unopened. then pressed delete (as originally intended) now i have icon saying i have 47 unread sms msgs but of course everything is gone so i cant bloody get rid of anything!

Initially there was also a red asterisk on the gmail icon, but there are no emails saved, no messages unread or saved anywhere. I took it to the local Verizon store, they looked at it for an hour and got nowhere. I had already removed the battery are reinstalled it, but the thing is still there.

I have what I think is the voice message symbol (sort of like a cassete tape symbol) on my phone.I have no messages.Contacted vodafone aust and they also say no messages and even changed the way they alert the phone to new messages.The symbol is still there.Any way of getting rid of it, or finding out just what it means?

I'm still a novice using it, but I am having a problem getting the yellow envelope icon that alerts you that you have new messages to go off. On the message envelope (or just above it) on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen; when I highlight it, it says, "1 messages". The yellow envelope is also on at this time. But when I open the message box or any of the other email boxes, there are no messages. Of course this is on the home page if I didn't mention that. i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

My pearl 9105 has a bbm message unread indicator at the screen top for several days now and will not go away despite clearing all chats etc.Taking battery out just means message is accompanied by flashing red light!

I know for sure it was saved in my 'saved messages' folder, for the purpose of forwarding it later.I am able to delete the message from the 'saved' folder, however I cannot delete it from my Inbox. I've tried doing a battery pull, but it didn't help. I've tried deleting the message, then pulling the battery...and pulling then deleting. Nothing works.The message was sent and saved on February 19, 2010 at 5:32 PM. As for deleting..I've tried to delete prior, delete it individually, mark it read and then delete it, everything I can think of.Anyone know what I can do? It's been annoying me for months, and no suggestions on other threads have helped.
