My BB 8520 volume up key is not working. My speaker phone is at its lowest volume. As a result even if I switch on my speaker phone I can listen the voice loudly. Even I can't listen to the songs and ring tones to select a new one. how do I increase the volume of my speaker phone as by any other process ?

Today the volume up button on right side of my Curve 8520 no longer works. Is there a fix? Is there another way I can control my volume when listening to music? I really don't want to replace my current Curve if I can.

I switched the slider on the side and it still doesn't work. Ive also tryed to update it and take out the battery for 5 mins and still nothing has happened. since i updated it the only thing that shows is the agreement thing and went the screen goes blank only the volume ones get the screen back. it does have water damage but that was a while ago

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have this problem of my xperia z2, its kinda weird coz the volume rocker works when i press it up and down so i can hear the ringtone volume go up and down, also with the alarm, but when i play anything in media, video, audio or youtube, even when i put the volume at max it doesnt seem to play anything, basically everything works except for the media volume, especially with calls, i cant hear the person im talking to coz it seems like the media volume is stuck on mute event if i turn it to max volume, tried rebooting, safe mode, cache wipes, etc.. everything.. I not gonna post here if its not the last resort. Android 5.1.1 xperia z2 user btw

also i already tried the diagnostics tab, the loudspeaker and ear speaker doesn't seem to pass, but when i reboot it i can hear the speakers working, even when i asked someone to call me i can hear the ringtone ringing except when i answer the call i wonr be able to hear anything
is there anyway to flash from usb or anether way to get into boot loader. i downloaded a crap rom and i cant do nothing on it it just give me to close funection and whot let me do anything what do i do i hope im not stuck

today i tried listening to music on my iphone 4s,only to find that my volume adjuster had disappeared.and just to clarify,when i say that it disappeared,i mean that when i press the volume buttons on my phone,i see the speaker icon but the gauge bar is gone. i tried to test if this issue was only happening in one place, by checking out if i could adjust my volume through my Internet app. unforuntately, the volume slider has disappeared from the app as well.

My volume control does not work without having headphones plugged in. When I try to play music or audio from websites through my speakers, I do not have any sound or control over the volume. I have done a reset, I have done a restore, I have done all of the firmware updates. There are no blocks under the ringer volume icon. There is no volume bar when watching video or playing music, but these things are there when I have headphones plugged in. I should also add that my ringer and message tones still work.

My nokia 5130 xpressmusic increase(+) volume key is not working when the music player is active but when i go to my home screen where my wallpaper, clock, etc is placed and then when i use the up/increase volume key it works fine there. I think this is a software problem, because I can temporarily fix the issue by re-setting the network settings. However the fix is short lived, because as soon as I connect to a wifi network, the volume + button stops working again.
