Jul 11, 2010I have 2 different cases that I would like to se some kind of solution for:
- In my city, there are several "bugs" in the maps. Is there a way to get this corrected ? Several roads seems ok for drivetrough, but then you find them to be "walking only". Ovi maps told me to drive into such road, - but luckily I knew the area, and did know it was a dead end. Places like this I would like to share with other users, so the map itself would be more up to date and as correct as possible. But ; such issues I have found no way to feed the maps with. ( yea, I might share the cinema, and hospital, cafe's and som but the road and blocked roads, - nope. even nopt telling wich speedlimits the different roads has).
Is there a way to get the ovi maps to remember a input? (It asks over and over "connect to location server" y/n - while driving in areas with a lot of tunnels, and steep mountains (it looses the GPS signals). This is not only annoying, but it disturb while driving. If I consider to say yes, - ( or no for that matter) - it continues to ask everytime it looses the GPS signals. I have now turned it off, and will see if the nagscreen shows up all the time. If it could remember the FIRST answer - as long as it is running, - it would be okay. As it is now, - its really disturbing - here in Western Norway. (where the FJORDS are, and a lot of tunnels).

May 17, 2010I am wondering if anybody else is having the following issue with the Ovi Maps:Say that I need to walk to a certain destination.I first go to Find Places and I type the name of the street which is my destination. However, in most of the cases the answer is "No result found offline".I have to mention that I have downloaded the England maps on the phone.
To be honest this is very annoying as it seems the application is not able to recognize any of the destinations I am interest in (for example, as I live in London and I want to drive to B&Q in Beckton, there is no way for me to find the B&Q's address with the OVi Maps).So, I am just left with the option to look where the store is located on my computer and then manually navigate on the Ovi Map and set that point as destination.

Apr 3, 2015My phone was working perfectly alright last night but lost charge so went go charge it as normal from the wall socket but it did not charge at all and not even the red power light showing. Thought I'd give it another go in the morning but no, just the red light on but no power. Now it still has the red power light show up but then after about 30 mins a battery sign shows that is different to the last battery sign that it had before so was wondering if the system has updated automatically???? Turns on but shows main screen for a millisecond and switches straight off saying 0% battery even though its been charging a good while.

Sep 4, 2010OK out of no where my 8520 started now showing text or notifing me of texts it just shows the little text notification that I have a text.When I go to read it it's not there.I'm not using the default theme.When I switch to the default theme it throws everything off.This phone is brand new I had to get a new curve for a different reason.I'm stuck with this for 2 years.

I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. Dec 29, 2011It has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.
