I've been trying to upload a photo to facebook but its not happening. I've done it before, but all I get is 'uploading photo', and the the dial going round, waited for ages, 10mins at one point, but just got fed up!

Am I doing something wrong here. I take a photo with the Nokia 5800 and then I want to immediately send it by Bluetooth to my PC. Do I have to go to gallery to send it by Bluetooth only I can only see that you can send it by mms or upload to web from the camera screen, no choice about send by Bluetooth.

I just want to confirm if others have the same problem on sending photos on whatsapp by using Gallery. I am not able to send any photos as attachment in whatsapp when using Gallery app. However, if I long hold the gallery icon, it enable me to choose Photos app and send the file from that app. Feels so annoying have to long hold the icon everytime I want to send photos.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought the xperia pro 4 days ago, and I love the qwerty keyboard! Unfortunately it won't recognize my SIMcard, but maybe that's because it's kinda old (3 yrs). So I will get a new sim. But now I can't get facebook to upload my photo's. After I have tried to upload a photo, it fails and I can't even reload my newsfeed. Same problem with twitter. After I restart my Pro, facebook works fine again, but as soon as I try to add a picture it fails. Browser works fine, and there's nothing wrong with the internetconnection (I use WIFI). I'm starting to think that maybe there's something wrong with this particular mobile. Or is this a common problem? Or Android problem? I can bring it back to the store (within 7 days), which I will if I don't get it to work.

When I take a vertical photo and publishe it on Facebook, the photo is published horizontal. Also when I open the photo in a photo-app, it's horizontal.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll my contacts are synced, Facebook profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show for incoming/sending calls. Its just the generic picture. However Google+ profile pictures do appear in a small circle on the bottom left corner on a gray background.

PS: The problem started after the 5.0 update. I've already reset the phone and tried doing the update with PC Companion. Nothing works.
When you upload a photo from your phone to FB for example, do you notice that it uploads a very small compressed image? For example, using the native Gallery quick upload feature, i'm alerted that the photo is 2MB and needs to upload over WiFi, so it uploads. But then that same pic on FB ends up being only around 86KB. Uploading straight through the FB app is better, but still only around 325KB for the same image file. Is there any way around this at all?

I've delete that FB picture and replaced it with just "black" but still the phone is displaying that old background photo. I've pinned and unpinned and it's still there. View 2 Replies View RelatedA hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again.So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.
Sorry if this question has been asked before. How do you post a photo on Facebook as a "Wallpost" because its only giving me the option of photos going straight to my mobile photos album.
