View 6 RepliesI charged up my phone fully yesterday and it was all ok. I turned it off last night and when i tried to turn it on this morning there was no life. I have removed the battery and put it back in but this has done nothing. I have also removed the battery and SIM card and put them back in again but this hasn't helped either. We have checked the battery on a multi-meter and there is definitely charge in in so it's not that the battery has died.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased a Lumia 710, after using the HTC 7 Mozart (also windows phone). I prefer to charge my phone overnight and I also need to turn it off so my number can divert. I have always been able to turn my phone off and charge it, however each and every time I turn it off it turns on again. The iPhone and other andriod phones don't do this, and the HTC didn't do it either, so why does Nokia do this. Is there a setting in the phone? Many google results seem to say it only happens with nokia, and others say it happens with all windows phones, however as previously mentioned, the HTC doesn't do it.

I am using Nexus5 (Android 5.1). Actually, my network provider has charged me for cellular data usage which I never did. In-fact, I haven't subscribed to any data pack and was charged heavily. I always use internet through WiFi.
My data usage widget is displaying 0B data usage, but my network operator is insisting that the data has been used by the device.
I want to understand if this issue is really due to my device.I see different cellular network icons on my device :-
- Exclamation mark in cellular network when WiFi is disabled (I never enable cellular data)
- R sign in cellular network (cellular data is disabled and i am not in roaming)
- No R or exclamation sign (both WiFi and cellular usage is disabled)
I am not able to understand,Is my cellular data usage is really due to my device settings or is due to some issue by service provider.
Is it that the device is indeed using cellular data despite of the fact that cellular data option is disabled and it never shows this usage in data usage widget.
I observed that when I use Wi-Fi, then exclamation sign from cellular network is removed, does that mean that the cellular data is also used and that's why my service provider has charged me?
I had my S6 plugged in to the charger, it became fully charged. When I went to use it, while still plugged in, I couldn't get the screen to turn on. I unplugged it, but the green "fully charged" light is STILL on and the screen won't turn on. Have tried holding down the power button...nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan the notification that the battery is charged and that the charger should be disconnected be turned off? I use my phone for a clock/alarm at night and I think the bright white notification bar (irritating in itself) will eventually burn the screen. I thought perhaps MacroDroid could do it, but I don't see that notification as an event.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 yesterday (moving over from a windows phone) and it's taking some getting used to. The lack of a 'silent' function is annoying, but the part that is strange is the fully charged notification.
I suffer from insomnia and I finally got to sleep last night, only to be woken up by the phone vibrating to let me know it was fully charged. I wasn't able to get back to sleep for hours then, and I'm dreading it happening again tonight! How can I turn this notification off?
Since the upgrade to GB, I get a lot of notifications, some I can't tell why. One that I know of, when the phone reached full charge, I get the notification, sometimes 2 or 3 times. How to turn these off, was not happening in FROYO.

I purchased a Blackberry curve 8520 about 6 wks ago. It stopped working about 3 weeks after purchasing it.I sent it away to be fixed (purchased from Vodafone). They sent it back and said there was nothing they could find wrong with it. The same has just happened again. The screen remains blank & it is fully charged. I have tried taking out & putting the battery back in. Sometimes it just blinks an orange light a couple of times but screen remains blank. I don't want to send it away again to be fixed as all my details/downloads will be once again be wiped off while it is being fixed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy curve is nearly 2 years old so my warranty is over. I replaced the battery 4 months ago b/c my phone wouldn't stay charged for even 1 day. Virgin said they could do nothing for me so I went ahead and just bought a new battery. The same problem has arose but its getting worse each day. The battery symbol shows its at about 80%, I will send one bbm and it will shut off (and not turn back on) until I plug it in. When I do so the battery is at about 20%. I don't even use my phone all day!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought a BB 9300 Curve. However ever since the day I have been using the set, precisely last Sunday, I have been getting messages every 15 minutes which read as "Last Session Cost: 0.50 INR, Session Data accessed: 0.1 MB.
The above data of course have been varying and since that day this has resulted in the deduction of almost 40 INR. I have repeatedly tried to touch base with my mobile service provider - Vodafone with this issue, but they have clearly told me their inability to help me with the issue. Also what I have been told is to stop the "Push mail" option in Internet settings, whereas I have no internet facility yet activated in my BB and that I have not yet accessed any browser or mail set-up.
My gf now owns my Curve and it vibrates and gives a notification every night when it finishes charging. It never did this when I had it. She has an otterbox cover on it. I can't find an option anywhere to stop this. Help! We don't want to completely silence the phone at night in case of emergencies.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9300 is shutting down when the battery is charged. It can shut down at any time, and it is important for family contact reasons that my phone is available at all times. I can only restart the phone when the battery charger is plugged into the phone. It will not restart without it. Should I be replacing the battery with a new one?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8302. Yesterday the battery depleted unusually fast (with in about 2-3 hrs with hardly any use). I put it on the charger for about 3hrs. Still showed the battery symbol (top left) as dead. And the words low battery below the clock. I left it charge over night. Still same thing. I put the battery into a friends 8320 & it showed fully charged no problem at all. I can access the phone if I have it plugged into the computer or charger. But the moment I disconnect it says something along the lines of "battery drained powering down". And it turns off my phone. So I have discovered there wasn't anything wrong with the battery. So is there something wrong with the phone? Or is there something wrong with the firmware? Even when I go to the wrench Icon & check battery level from there, it say 0% for charged. What can I do?
