My i-phone wont turn on and I don't know why, it went off all of a sudden even thought the battery was half charged, I've tried holding the power and home buttons to reset it but that hasnt worked, I don't know what else to try?
i have just got a Lumina 920 on t mobile, its a fantastic handset but i have one issue, if i use the wireless charging pad and leave the phone for more than 30mins i have to press and hold the unlock and volume down button.
I have just purchased a Lumia 710, after using the HTC 7 Mozart (also windows phone). I prefer to charge my phone overnight and I also need to turn it off so my number can divert. I have always been able to turn my phone off and charge it, however each and every time I turn it off it turns on again. The iPhone and other andriod phones don't do this, and the HTC didn't do it either, so why does Nokia do this. Is there a setting in the phone? Many google results seem to say it only happens with nokia, and others say it happens with all windows phones, however as previously mentioned, the HTC doesn't do it.
I charged up my phone fully yesterday and it was all ok. I turned it off last night and when i tried to turn it on this morning there was no life. I have removed the battery and put it back in but this has done nothing. I have also removed the battery and SIM card and put them back in again but this hasn't helped either. We have checked the battery on a multi-meter and there is definitely charge in in so it's not that the battery has died.
I had my S6 plugged in to the charger, it became fully charged. When I went to use it, while still plugged in, I couldn't get the screen to turn on. I unplugged it, but the green "fully charged" light is STILL on and the screen won't turn on. Have tried holding down the power button...nothing.
Can the notification that the battery is charged and that the charger should be disconnected be turned off? I use my phone for a clock/alarm at night and I think the bright white notification bar (irritating in itself) will eventually burn the screen. I thought perhaps MacroDroid could do it, but I don't see that notification as an event.
for some reason, my iTunes says it is 98% charged but my iPhone says it is fully charged at 100%... So I am not sure which to believe nor why this is happening? Does it have anything to do with the calibration of my phone's battery? Do I trust my phone's depiction or iTunes'?Â
I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 yesterday (moving over from a windows phone) and it's taking some getting used to. The lack of a 'silent' function is annoying, but the part that is strange is the fully charged notification.
I suffer from insomnia and I finally got to sleep last night, only to be woken up by the phone vibrating to let me know it was fully charged. I wasn't able to get back to sleep for hours then, and I'm dreading it happening again tonight! How can I turn this notification off?
Since the upgrade to GB, I get a lot of notifications, some I can't tell why. One that I know of, when the phone reached full charge, I get the notification, sometimes 2 or 3 times. How to turn these off, was not happening in FROYO.
it's a brand new phone. i've had two more berfore this one and this has never happened before. it just turns itself off in unsuspected times, with no obvious reason! i try turning it on but i cant unless i press at the same time both the home button and the on/off button.
A couple hours ago my phone was having issues connecting to my wifi automatically. When I went into Settings > Wifi my phone froze. I did a hard reset (holding down the top key and the home button) untill the little apple appeared. Problem is the apple stayed there and then dimmed and eventually shutoff. By itself the process would repeat and repeat; Apple, dull apple, no apple. I waited it out and it eventually came back on after about 20 minutes. Â
My phone was froze again a couple hours later and I did a hard reset again. The same process occured and its been repeating for at least 2 hours now. Ive tried plugging it into my charger and nothing happened. I plugged it into my laptop and thought i would try a factory reset but since my phone isnt "on" itunes does not pick it up. I hace also tried removing te sim card and doing another hard reset while its doing its process. Â
My iPhone was syncing to my computer and I left it, and when I came back it was turned off. I tried to turn it on like normal but nothing happened, so I tired a hard reset but it also didn't work. At first it acted like the screen wasnt on because it would vibrate. But as of now it is completely dead.
