the type of my pictures have changed to jpg.rem which means whenever I want to see my pictures on the laptop it doesn't let me because of the format before it was jpg now its jpg.rem . How can I change it back to jpg

View 1 Replies View RelatedThrough Control Panel, Settings,General,Personalization,Standby Mode,Mode Settings,Application Shortcuts, I have changed 3 of the 6 home screen shortcut icons to Google, BBC weather and EbayMobile. Unfortunately they all show on the home screen as an icon of the planet Earth, and it's only when I move the cursor over them that the wording appears to show which one is which !
Does anyone know if the home screen icons can be changed to other symbols/pictures so I can recognize them without having to hover over them ? I can't find any way on the phone itself that enables this to be done and I've also tried to find any mention of it on the internet, but no luck ! I used to use Nokia Photo Browser to see my pictures, instead of the default Gallery (hope this is the right name in English).
Somehow, recently I couldn't see the latest pictures with Photo Browser and I found that my Camera NOW stores the pictures in E:DCIM100NOKIA instead of E:PICTURESecc.I've tried a rest of the settings of Camera but with no success.
i've tried everything. changing filetypes and making new maps to put the pictures in but it won't work.. i even deleted itunes and downloaded it again. it's really disturbing not to be able to rotate pictures!

Somehow my phone changed the date of my taken pictures and whatsapp pictures saved on the SDcard. I dont know why or how that happened.

What is the best way to correct the dates? It would take a lot of time to change every single picture since there are around 150 pictures to be changed individually. Is this maybe a mistake of the media cache??
I can text messages all day but sending or receiving pictures will not work. my s5 will just remain in sending mode infinitely will not download as well.

I had changed in my camera options to "store pictures" on the sd card NOT "in device memory".A few days ago while taking some pics I maxed out the sd card and while trying to back out hit "ok" to something not sure what it was. but it changed the bb setting back to "device memory" and now when I try to change my camera options of "store pictures" back to the sd card it stays in "in device memory" and gives me no other option to use the sd card (which i did clean out some pics for space). It does show a folder where it is storing pics I take though but when I click the trackball to change from device memory it only shows

However the new replacement has a slighlty different theme than the previous one.It seems to have some different icons and highlights then in blue when you scroll over them. The text messages are also displayed dfferently.

I recently upgraded my BB to the newest software available 5.0.0.1030, and in doing so lost a little bit of functionality. Mainly, I used the "Left" Shortcut Key on my Curve to "lock" the keypad. Also, when I wanted to unlock the keypad, I could hit any key on the keyboard, then hit star and send to unlock it.
Since the update, I've noticed that there's no way to bind the left shortcut key to locking the keyboard - it doesn't exist anymore. While I can still lock it by pushing and holding A, the left-shortcut-button was instant.
Next, I also notice that to unlock it, I now have to push the mute button the top of the phone. Since my phone is placed in my pocket, I've actually (several times over the last week) inadvertently hit the mute button by mistake, releasing the keypad and actually pocket dialing someone!
I tried to revert to the old operating system using my BB desktop software, which is the 5.0.0.654, but the keypad lock/unlock seems to remain unchanged.
Is there a way to make it look like the way I opened it up from the box again?
I have downloaded several songs via the Amazon MP3 application on my Blackberry Curve 9300. Little did I know that the songs were downloaded as rem files and not mp3 format? I cannot upload the files to my desktop or laptop computers nor my Kindle.Amazon said since I downloaded most of the songs over 3 months ago, they cannot move them over to my Cloud Player. How do I convert rem file to mp3 format? I do not want to have to purchase these songs again.
