Nov 28, 2012L have bb 9300 version 6.0 bundle 2475,app world is not working using wifi ,when i open app world using wifi a window open says that make sure that wifi is open?

Jun 16, 2012I have a Blackberry 9380 curve touch phone.I have connected my phone to the wifi router and switched off the Data services but still the browser and app world wont get connected and shows a message saying that " The data service is not operational " .How to use the browser and app world on wifi and not through cellular data ?

Jun 20, 2010I have a problem I cannot conect to 2 wifi spots that have the same ssid it tels me to replace the other one as my router at home and at work are the same I have to delete one which makes me enter the pasword all the time is there no way to change this Also app world doesn't work on my mobile why its a bb smartphone right so why can't I use it?

Mar 9, 2011I bought a blackberry curve 3g yesterday and set everything to work as normal. All the email, phone, internet and browsers, and bb I'm all work perfectly. And bb app world works WITH wi fi. But when I try to access bb app world without wifi the following message comes up " you are currently on a service plan that requires wifi connection to use this application. If you want to use this application outside of wifi please contact your service provider to upgrade your data plan" . A similar message about data plan appears when trying to access the facebook app at any pointI phoned vodafone and they said everything was fine at their end and I have all the correct data plan and bb services and keep directing me here.

Sounds a bit confusing.But here's the thing, I want to purschase the app BeBuzz and so does my sister. We don't want to purchase the same app twice. I know its only $6 but I'd still like to save as much money as I can. Anyways, if I purchase it on my device and then sign in as myself on HER device and "reinstall" it onto her device, would it delete after I switch accounts?I hope somebody understands what I am asking. Please log in to continue. (Error Id: 30702)" I've logged in on my computer and it logs in there but not on the phone self I've tried everything.

Feb 23, 2012Alright, I have had my Blackberry Curve 9300 3G for about 6 months now, and never had problem. Recently, I have been noticing my App World is freezing when I try to download or update my applications. See, I am trying to download Twitter to my phone, and every time I click "download" it says "please wait". It stays like this forever, and I can't press the back button or blackberry menu button. Occasionally, it tells me I need a Blackberry Identity update, which I can't seem to get access to either. After this happens, I can't do anything on the App store, yet I can still run the phone, its just the App store that is frozen. I restart my phone after this, and it resets everything, just to have it happen again. I know I have the Identity update, and all my software is up to date as well.

Oct 27, 2010My Blackberry is from outside the States (from Panama, where I am from) and I use it solely on WiFi (with the Mobile Network Antenna turned off) when I am in college in the States.I have been doing this since January, when I first got my Blackberry Curve 8900 (Javelin?). I used it solely on WiFi until about May when I returned home for the Summer. During the Summer I used the device mostly with the mobile network (EDGE data).
Then I returned to college this past August and resumed using the Blackberry only with WiFi turned on with no problem. Reconnected to my school's WiFi network, and my home router here without much problems. Continued doing that until last week, when I went home for Fall Break. Used it on EDGE during my time there... then I returned to school, at it just doesn't work anymore...
I got it this past Sunday night, turned the device on, it connected to my home network, downloaded a couple of BBM messages and after a few seconds I guess the Blackberry decided it didn't want to work anymore, and since then I have not been able to get a single working connection from any WiFi network I've tried... rebooted the device, the router, removed the battery, deleted Wifi profiles, switched to Hotspot browsing, back to default, etc... nothing
Internet WORKS in the Blackberry Browser... I can browse the internet, look up stuff on google, etc.. but BBM, Facebook, Gmail, nothing else will work... Repeat: wherever I connect I can browse the internet, but the WiFi logo does not turn white and BBM and other will not work?
